Good job that Sam followed Dean out there on that hunt as he was going out there recklessly unprepared as they have no idea to kill what they are hunting. Just hope that Sam's cry of warning has given Dean enough time to get out of the way! Will not spoil it for others as I do know what they are hunting! :) Looking forward to more! Sarah
Author's Response: Yeah I know I spoiled the surprise for you didn't I, Sarah? Oh well. :) And Dean was a lot more reckless than he was before John made the deal to save him - it just seems like he doesn't really care if he lives or dies anymore, just as long as he can save Sam before hand. I must say that I've got no clue what the boys are hunting, but then again I hardly ever guess correctly who the killer is either in CSI, it's good I'm not a cop, LOL.

Hmmm...can't say I know which monster it is, since I literally cannot think of anything like that that came out of India. Anyhow, it does seem like Dean has a death wish. I really felt badly for Sam when he had that panic attack about Dean's near death and John's death. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Well you'll find out what it is they're hunting in this next chapter. And I don't think Dean really has a death wish - he just doesn't care if he lives or dies. He knows he shouldn't be alive because John made a deal for him so he feels like he shouldn't be there, so he's more reckless. I hope you enjoy the next chapter. Thanks for the review.

This chapter has such a sad undertone but is also so beautifully worded and you can sense the whole time how much Sam misses his brother and wants him back. With Dean this withdrawn and obviously very unhappy and Sam still feeling sick and scared for his brother but both trying to hide it from each other this is a very bad starting point for their new hunt and I fear for both. Loved the connection with the song, Right Here Waiting is a wonderful choice!
Author's Response: I love a lot of Staind songs, but Right Here Waiting is one of my favorites and it seemed so appropriate for the mood I wanted to set in this first chapter - because in a way Sam is waiting for his brother to come back to him. But you're right where they are right now, with Sam's physical limitiations and Dean so withdrawn it isn't a good starting point for a hunt - hope you enjoy the next chapter. Thanks for the review!

Oh dear, hope that Sam having a broken arm and his eyesight not being back to normal are not reasons why Dean is being given CPR by his sibling. And possibly hunting a supernatural creature from India could be tricky as it will be difficult to find out exactly how to kill it. Just hope Bobby is on the ball and has something about it in one of his tomes. Sarah
Author's Response: I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to make this creature vulnerable yet there are so many other factors I need to think about before I get to that. But it definitely is from India, at least that is where the lore originated, and I've given a lot more clues as to what it is even though I haven't given everything away yet. It'll be revealed in chapter three although it might be obvious from what descriptions I've given...who knows? :) Hope you enjoy the next one. Thanks for the review.

Dramatic start, OMG what has happened to Dean, something serious as Sam is desperately trying to revive him with CPR! Just hope he succeeds in bringing Dean back then he can call 911.

I wonder what the thing is? Is it really from India and if it is, how did it get to the states? Sam should worry about Dean holding it all in because it's scary like what he did to that vampire. Hopefully, Dean will come back to himself sometime soon. Looking forward to reading more.

Author's Response: I do it just to torture you. LOL. No I'm just kidding - I was actually sitting on my bed one night and this idea came to me - the scene practically played itself out in front of me so I quickly jotted it down. The rest of the story will take me longer but I've been looking for the perfect story to fit the vision I had of Sam working desperately over Dean's lifeless body and I found the perfect one with this - I'm so excited about it - I hope you enjoy it. Author's Response: Like I said in the message I sent, I don't write death fics. The only story I ever came close to doing that was my take on what Sam felt and did after the season 3 finale and I don't think that counts because Dean was already dead. I didn't kill him I just filled in a few blanks on what happened afterward and how Dean was buried in that unmarked grave later on. But I don't kill of Sam or Dean - I love them too much to do that. I might put them through their paces but I promise I won't kill them. Hope you'll give this one a chance. Thanks for the review.

So excited you are back and this story follows Colors what is one of my alltime favs!! An intense start with haunting images of Sam who so desperately tries to keep his brother alive. Can't believe Dean is dead and as always completely trust you with this. Fantastic, so looking forward to read this story!!!!
