Oh my dear, fluffy lord! That was intense as hell! Great writing. Great job with the emotions - they literally come spilling off the page. A little more with Sam, but I guess that's the intent? :) I wanted more. Well done. Andi.

Writing that piece was a bitch, I've never written something as emotional as that before, half the time I was worried it was too much and the other half I was searching for words. I'm so glad it came out right! And yes about the intent, that was Sam's story and him handling his Dad's death, can't have Dean running around having visions now, can we? ;) Thanks a lot!

oh poor baby!! So he's not really having a nightmare. It's a vision of the torture of John in Hell! YIKES!! We never did get to see Sam's grief over losing John. It was all Dean in the trade-off and then the Psychic kid story line. Too bad...I bet it would have been good! Th anks!
Author's Response: Damn, even more reviews I missed responding to, I'm so sorry about that. You're right, the show didn't let Sam come to terms with what happened to John. I used to be angry at them for that, but now I've made my peace with it. I think it could have become a really powerful and emotional story on screen. Thanks!
