i just want to say that i loved this story! i got a little scared at the end bc i thought it was gonna end up the whole thing was a dream. i'm so glad it wasn't. i am going to read the sequel of course, but i have to wait til it's finished. i hate being left hanging. anyway, great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to read. It means so much to me. He he, I may be cruel but I'm not cruel enough to make it all a dream ^_^ I can gladfully (is that a word?) say that I have the sequel planned out much better than I had this one planned out so hopefully it shouldn't take nearly half as long to finish so hope you get a chance to read it when it is done. Thanks again so much!

From the start of this story to its end, you have woven an intriguing tale that I find has a bit of everything--humor, angst, peril, etc. 38 chapters, but never were they mismatched with one another, which is clearly a testimony to how you worked to tie all threads together. You made clever use of all your resources in this fic, masterfully utilizing Bobby and Ellen and even Missouri--which I loved. You took us, the readers, on a wild journey that had at least one of us (me) wondering if Dean would ever be able to obtain redemption. But, in the end, you brought us back full circle to what we already, to what makes Dean Winchester who he is: Sam's brother. I guess what I'm trying to say with all my nonsensical babbling is that I really, REALLY like this story. It's going on my favorites list for easy locating in the future. It was beautifully done--thanks for sharing. ~Quen*
Author's Response: Oh God, such an absolutely awesome review. Thank you so much for reading through this tale and for the really great reviews you've left throughout. They mean so much to me. I love the characters of Supernatural so much so it's an honour to be able to use them in a fic, thank God that Kripke doesn't mind that type of stuff ^_^ I am so pleased that you liked this story! Again, it really means a lot to me so thank you for taking the time to read it. :D

Ah!!!!!!!! I keep thinking "it's gotta get better, it's gotta get better". Sheesh, at this rate, Dean'll NEVER be able to forgive himself. Still loving it. Great fic.
Author's Response: Lol, thanks!

Not entirely lost yet, as he would've killed her otherwise. An intense chapter. Loved the torture tactic--very inventive. Don't know if I would've thought of it, myself.
Author's Response: It's disturbing thinking of torture methods, lol, so thanks ^_^

Priceless line I'd never expect Dean to say:"Sam... what happened to my hellhound?" ^^ And that last line! It makes me want to cry. Beautiful job, as always.
Author's Response: ^_^ Hellhounds are fun to play with... which reminds me, need to put him in the new story, lol.

Highly addictive. Sadly, this thing called 'sleep' is somewhat necessary for proper functioning. *frown* Great chapter. Now I wanna know how Missouri and Bobby are tied together...
Author's Response: Eeek, the evil S word which will soon be calling to me. Thanks again!

I'm more or less steadily making my way through this tale. I'm really liking it so far. You have a wonderful way with words, making this an enjoyable read. I'm always looking forward to what happen next.

I somehow missed the last chapter of this when you posted. Thanks for this amazing story, i've loved reading it. I'm off to read the falling now.
Author's Response: Lol, thanks for reading! ^_^ I think Lucifer is always gonna be one of my faves 'cause I had so much fun writing it, I just hope the Falling lives up to it. :) Thanks again!

So I finished reading the last chapter and all I can say is I loved it! And I`m sad that it`s finished! this was one hell of a ride! Rea, will there be a sequel to this one?...I know... wishful thinking ;) Honestly, it was awesome!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it :D It was definately so much fun writing it. And as for a sequel... there are ideas spinning around in my head so maybe... one day there might be :D It would be great to carry on the little story... he he. Thanks again!

Dean is Lucifer, how hot is that? :D the prologue got my attention, I think it will be a long long night!
Author's Response: He he, the idea does make me a little flustered. Thanks for reading!

Brutal honesty--this was an awesome ending to a very complex and thought-provoking story. I liked the message that Sam voiced without realizing its import to the weeks-that-never-happened...Dean/Lucifer is Sam's brother. Everything else just falls into place. Good work, and I'm sad that it's over too.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it. It's one of the stories I'm most proud of, so thanks again. And I love the idea that no matter what, they're brothers and that's all that counts. So thank you. Thank you absolute loads! Means a lot that you took the time to read and review!

Jeremiel is such a fun character...I almost wish we could have seen more of him in this story, but I understand that he's only the messenger boy, and a reluctant one at that. Also, would the Almighty really want Lucifer to forget all these recent memories if those are the very things that made him reconsider what most beings thought to be his innate and permanent nature?
Author's Response: I enjoyed writing him! :D I had to find just the right angel as well... I didn't realise there were so many. It was nice playing with a species from the other team though :D He he, you read my mind when it comes to the Almighty... making him forget really wouldn't be the smartest move.

No hate, just amazement. (I still think that if Lucifer can feel emptiness and sorrow because he believes Sam to be dead, then he isn't as evil as he ought to be.) Great chapter, but I can't see how you can possibly wrap all this up with only two more chapters.
Author's Response: Thank you absolute loads! Nah, Lucy ain't all that bad... he he :D Lol, I have my ways of wrapping it up, I just hope it doesn't feel rushed.
Reviewer: Armaita (Signed) · Date: 18/07/08 06:34 PM · On: Hello Again
Very well done...you've got no reason to be self-conscious about this chapter. I'd comment further, but I'm too eager to see what Lucifer can do in battle.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! :D Re-reading the last few chapters and I can't believe how much I've forgotten so soon!
Reviewer: Armaita (Signed) · Date: 18/07/08 06:26 PM · On: Heartbeat
I just realized...there's not much difference between Lucifer killing demons to protect Sam and Dean killing other monsters for the same cause. Is that part of their shared soul, or is it Dean's better qualities rubbing off on Lucifer?
Author's Response: He he, I like to put it down to Dean's better qualities rubbing off on Lucifer... even if the old devil won't admit it. :D Thanks again!

So, will it be Dean or Lucifer who wants to save Sam from Belial? Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: And that is a very interesting question! :D Hope you get your answer! Thanks!

K, 2 things. First of all, is the hellhound not evil per-se? B/c it mentioned liking "noble and strong" types of dogs, like german sheperds. Was that just a turn of phrase, or was the hellhound actually thinking in terms of noble vs. ignoble? Second, I agree w/Sam. The fact that Lucifer seems fixated with getting the Impala out of the impound sounds more like Dean than Lucifer. (I mean, its a nice car, bute Lucifer ought to want something newer, faster, more expensive, and/or more difficult for Sam, Ellen and Bobby to track, if he really wanted to complete the transformation.)
Author's Response: To answer your question, in my mind, the hellhound is kind of neutral... swayed by Lucifer/Dean's heart. In the past, he's only known the darkness but now that he's tasted what it's like to be good, he likes it. :D Plus I just totally love German Shepherds, he he... but yeah, he's grown to like the idea of noble. Oh yeah, if there wasn't a tiny bit of Dean in Lucifer, he'd probably be driving some sleek uber fast brand new sports car with the roof down and an actual CD player... he he. Thanks so much for reading!

Thanks for this tiny ray of hope! (It seems to me that whether Dean's soul really is Lucifer's or not doesn't matter...what actually matters is whether Lucifer allows himself to be tempted by the redeeming lifestyle that Dean has lead until now.) That would certainly be a twist; Lucifer being tempted with good deeds.
Author's Response: I like the idea of choices and free will, and it being the choices we make that define us... :) Thank you! I'm really glad you liked the chapter.

Very dark, and I'm having a really difficult time seeing any way out of this with Dean intact.
Author's Response: Thank you! If I hadn't had the ending in my head when I wrote this, I would have been very worried about where I was taking him.
Reviewer: Armaita (Signed) · Date: 18/07/08 05:35 PM · On: Cat and Mouse
Wow...is it bad that I admire Lucifer? For the ultimate in evil, he definitely has style. Using Dean's good looks to his own advantage is in keeping with demonic behavior we've already seen in the series. Great chapter!
Author's Response: I'd be biased if I said no... he he. I had lots of fun with his character in this story. Thank you so much!
