I've so enjoyed these.  Each short segment brought back a flurry of shared memories.  I am especially impressed with your Dark Side of the Moon thought.  I've always considered that Dean knew about Sam going to College and keeping it a secret from John, and I've imagined a multitude of reasons why.  But your explanation I did not anticipate.  It's both succinct and spot on.  Thank you for this. cheers.

You know, I had read a bunch of awesome stories about the events of that particular night, but when I sat down to think about it, the explanation became very simple and clear.
