Good beginning. I am now curious as to whose voices Dean is hearing. *crossing fingers that maybe one of them is Sam* I'll be watching for the next chapter.

This is a great start. Your expression of just how damaged Dean still feels is powerful. I especially appreciated your thought that Castiel could mend Dean's broken body but even an angel couldn't repair a tortured soul. Nicely done. I'm pleased, too, you have Dean running in his boots. Being ex-military myself we had to run in our combat boots. It's hard but one's feet adapt eventually. It rings with authenticity. You've got me hooked and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. cheers.
