To my mind, the whole pirate thing going on with Dean was in character and really clever of you, too. Though I liked Sam outsmarting his brother with the pirate talk as well! :D
The memory of how Sam met Jess was adorably awkward and a little creepy 'cause we know Brady's motives now... Poor Sam and Jess had no idea... I'm curious whether you made Sam a non-drinker back then on purpose 'cause drinking seems to be commonplace among hunters and Sam wanted a fresh start in every possible way? (Or is it established in the show that Sam momentarily stopped drinking while being away from hunting?)
"Someone had to go back for them so they could Scooby Doo the hell out of this place", "Hide a needle in a haystack, he'd find the bitch every time, so why couldn't he win that lottery."...Loved your colorful choice of words.
Sam saying the same expressions as Dean while they were separated, Dean being annoying to keep Sam's mind on track, their constant banter - so true to characters.

The lotto bit -- feel like that's me. LOL.
Sam not drinking....just me wanting him to be young and geeky. He he. Don't know of anything in the show that keeps him from being a drinker. We do see him have a drink in the pilot I beleive. With Jess.
The pirate stuff...dorky but fun. LOL. Thanks for liking. Felt like maybe went a bit overboard with it.
