Poor Sam. I hope they get that boy some help soon. Poor Dean having to wait to see if Sam can be saved. This was a very exciting chapter.

Oh man, you are keeping me breathless here. Sam is changing into a ghoul? They have no idea if they can save him and the witch could be anywhere, because her mind jumped ship, this is not good at all. If she is this old and been killed so many times, at least her body has, then she has to be pretty smart. How are they ever going to get her? And Sam, the pain sounds awful, really horrific. Oh wow, this was fast paced and filled with despair and action. Poor Sam, he is so out of it, he sees everything distorted, doesn't recognize the people that only want to help. But somehow Dean gets through, at least so much that Sam is able to settle. To bad he passes out again and is back in his torturous poisoned hell. I wish I could get my hand on that witch, I would kill her all over again. This is just unbelievable what she did to Sam and almost succeeded in doing to Dean too. Now on to the next chapter. This isnt sounding good- especially for Sam, and I'm not even feeling all that secure about Dean either! Love having Rufus in this fic... and you have his attitude dead on... like how he's edgy and no-nonsense... And you've certainly got the angst racheted up!! Awesome chapter! Tree

Poor Sam.... Nice kick-ass scene though from Sam's POV... Loved that he was looking for Dean- his anchor too... and equally loved that little bit of Dean- not giving up- holding on and clinging to him... Here's hoping they get him back soon..
Author's Response: Thanks. Though I'm ashamed to say that this chapter was a necessary evil. I hacked and cursed my way through it and finally decided to split it in two and work just a little bit harder on the next one... which should hopefully be up after a couple more reviews ;)

Author's Response: Ahaha! Me too (about the Sam-thing). Workin' overtime on the Sammy!Whumpage, but should probably focus more on Dean as well... hmm... You give good idea, yes? :P But I guess I see your point. I'm becoming much more Dean fixated as well. Still... there's something about the emotional problems of BOTH those boys that just gets to me. The epic battle - taking place in the space between the female menstrual cycle - between the perpetual "good guy" and "bad boy". Ahh.... the clishéish-goodness! BUT!
