Loved the hug, and the resolution between the boys. And the fact that Dean had kept a picture of Jess for when Sam was ready to see it again. And adored the final sentiment of Sam's, about his brother. It had always been Dean. So very true. Well.....I'd heard about this story, but had never gotten the time to pop in and see what all the fuss was about. So glad I managed to find the time before nominations close. You took me on a truly thrilling ride, with barely time to catch a breath between one crisis and the next, and I loved every minute of it. So thank you very much for that, and for sharing the story. You asked a lot of questions along the way and I hope most of them were answered. The one that most reviewers asked was "So who was the witch in?" I get it was confusing and not as clear as I'd hoped. But I think I settled wiith myself that she started out in that Derek fellow, then cursed Dean with anger, and THEN jumped into Sam. Author's Response: Well in my mind she started out in Derek whom she jumped into in the church. Then she jumped into Sam after cursing Dean with a little anger :) Don't know how clearly that was conveyed though. Never actually possessed Dean. Thanks for the reviews.

Just who is Hephzibah in? Oh my gosh, I hope it isn't Stella. If so, then Sam's in HUGE trouble right now. Have to say just quickly, loved that line about Dean trying to dodge past Bobby when Stella was doing her thing. The tension's so tight, this story's squeaking!

What a perfect ending. You took on Sam's change this season and also you didn't try to solve it, you gave it the start. Dean giving the picture to his little brother and telling him he understood, getting Sam to open up, not in words, but by allowing physical contact and even initiating it was so wonderful. There was certainly a sadness in the chapter, but at the same time there was also a lot of hope. I really liked that. And you chose not to have Dean tell Sam about the witch, well I think it was better that way. I think Sam couldn't deal with it right now. I hope you will consider that sequel. Really liked this one. I really enjoyed this story and I would love to hear your take on the talk between the boys on Sam's time in hell and how he takes the news that the witch might come back. I also see a sequel coming on sometime in the future and if that is in your plans, I would certainly enjoy it a lot. She was certainly a powerful witch and to see her after spending some time with the demons in hell, well, I can only imagine what she might come up with for the boys. Hugs, Vonnie

Wow, so Dean wakes up and doesn't remember initially and Sam is scared of him, which is understandable. And when Bobby shows up it turns out that the witch is possessing Sam now. AWWWWWW--- poor Sam... and worse yet... poor Dean... As bad as the physical violence is gonna be on Sam- its not gonna be anything compared to the mental and emotional damage on Dean when he realizes what he's done... OOps- I missed a chapter.... okay- so first the bitch is going after Dean- and now- poor Sam is really in a mess. Add to that- now Rufus and Bobby are gone- nowhere handy to help out while Stella is working her deal to help Sam...
