Wow!  Got tears in my eyes now and a lump in my throat!  You hit it right on the mark!  Great job!

Author's Response:

Thank you, sorry to make you tear up, but these boys and their fractured lives certainly do wring the emotions from us.

I can't wait to see where Sera and the gang take our boys in S6.  Take care, B.J.

You did a phenomenal job illustrating how important the Impala has been in the Winchesters' lives.  I am so glad that Swan Song has inspired you to write some of the most well written tags I have ever read.  I look forward to reading your next one.

Author's Response:

Thank you, your reviews have been wonderful.  I did worry that I was repeating myself, I mean, just how many tags can one episode inspire?  Apparently, quite a few! LOL

I always thought Mystery Spot was the most inspiring but SS has now passed that in tags.  I still have one more to go, a chapter fic showing how Dean didn't cope very well at losing Sam.  I hope to post that within a few days, definitely before the real writers blow us away with the real story.  Thanks again and take care, B.J.

This was amazing! Sam finally seeing the car, his brother and his life for what they really are is so heartfelt. And also heartbreaking in that it only came at the end. The ending had me in complete tears with the imagery of Sam holding onto the memory of two young brothers cocooned inside the Impala in safety and love and determined to have that memory support him through the trials of hell.

What this show, these characters do to us!

Author's Response:

Hey, Anna!

Thanks so much, really appreciated.  I love seeing Dean through Sam's eyes and how Kripke had the memories bombarding him as he wrestled back control was one of my fav moments from S5.

This show does affect us, so deeply and so totally.  And when they show that bond, that undying love between the brothers, well, that is what we are all waiting for.

I love any and all flashbacks to the younger boys, how Dean was always there for Sammy, how Sam always looked up to his big brother.  Despite the trials and separation the brothers later experienced, those memories always bind them together.

Five days and we get to see their reunion.  Can't wait.  Take care, B.J.

I"m glad you went through Sam's story, too. We tend to connect Dean with the Impala, so it was nice to connect Sam to the car, and use that connection to reach Dean as well.  Nice job!

Author's Response:

Thanks!  Yes, I often struggle writing Sam, seems Dean always wants to squeeze in, so even when I write from Sam's POV, there is always so much insight into Dean.

I do think we assume the car is Dean's focus, so it was nice to see Sam's memories centering around the car and of course, Dean.

I simply loved the exploration of the Impala and how meaningful she was to both brothers.  Loved Chuck's narration.

Thanks again, B.J.
