I stumbled on this wonderful little fic on my way to Mesmorised after our little online chat and got so sidetracked... loved it. Your write with flair and conviction. The best part? When Dean pulled up in the impala, mad as sh*t, but totally und erstanding and ready to get on with it. Sam's utter shock at seeing him was beautifully written. I loved "Heart" - that single defining tear, that all knowing flinch - but this one-shot as an alternative was awesome. You nailed it girl!

Like you, when my grandson read it, he loved that Dean showed up to support Sam's questionable decision......... your kind praise makes me ***blush***

Like you those tears really tore me up.......i figured maybe Sam won her over with his begging and fired the shot to fool Dean.....yeah right like that is ever really possible

This was another great write. The end of "Hear" is so gutwrenching (at least to me), seeing Sammy cry and that single tear rolling down Dean's cheek--not to mention that flinch. This is a nice alternative.

I think that this story is aveasome for only being your second story being written by you in over 40 yrs. I could not peel my eyes from the screen for one second until I finished the story. FANtastic! MAGnificent!

hey, good job here Jude ! Didn't see 'heart' yet so i approach this story without prejudice, and i really liked it. A happy ending for once can't hurt right ?! And some very good lines like 'we don't lie to each other, we may not admit to the whole truth sometimes', and 'who do we have here ? The beauty or the beast ?', just excellent. You have some fine days in front of you as an author on this site my friend.

I really enjoyed it. I love the happy ending...it's kinda what I had expected when I first watched the episode it was really the first time (other than IMTOD) that they ended an episode so sadly. I hadn't cried that much since the season 2 finale of BTVS! Anyhow great work! Gengen

Okay, so much for waiting... I have the patience of a two-year-old when it comes to fiction. This was great -- such a sweet idea that maybe John's possible theory had been right, maybe Maddie could have been saved, maybe Sam could have been spared such heartache and Dean such pain.
