Oh my gosh! This story is so beautiful, normally when I comment, even though I probably didnt cry, I'll tell them that I cried if it was sad enough to make someone cry, although it talkes A LOT to make me cry in a story, but I honestly will say, that this story had me in tears several times, especially the part where little Dean is getting his angel back from underneath the pillow. I kind of always wondered where Deans ring came from, and I hope its something like this in the real show too, cuz that is a beautiful way to put it, you did an amazing job, seriously. :)
Author's Response: Sorry for the late reply. Thank you SO much for the great review!! I'd love to know what backstory Kripke has for the ring. I've always thought it had to be something pretty big - Dean doesn't hang onto anything that doesn't mean something.

Sorry, I just finished reading it. This is very powerful. I think it would have been a good idea to have Sam gone with them. Probably he'd understand a little more.

This was excellent -- I loved the part with teenaged Dean and Bobby. I read it twice just to keep the flavor of that scene close to me. And I also liked how you noted with just one word the difference between the djinn's Sam and Dean's Sam. Awareness. So perfect, that observation. Thanks for writing.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you liked the part with Dean and Bobby. I can't take credit for noting the difference in Sam. I think Jared did a great job in the episode - how he didn't give anything away, if that makes sense, whilst being the djinn Sam. I think it would have been easy for both Jared and Jensen to over-act the episode, and they did such a fantastic job; perfectly restrained.

Wow that was beautiful. Really like the way you filled in the details of why Dean needed his angel made into something else. I can imagine him losing it in a hunt, or fighting to get it back from some light-fingered kid! Just gorgeous. Wheelbarrows full of peanut MnMs for you!

Well here are some peanut M&Ms then. I thought that was a great story explainging the ring. The ring actually got my attention in the season finale of season 1 and I developped my own little story for its existence. I hadn't noticed that he didn't have it in the "dream" world. Wow. This story is just awesome. I hope they never tackle the story of the ring in the Kripkeverse 'cuz this is always just going to be it for me. I love that Bobby helped him make the ring - perfect. My favourite part, if I have to narrow it down, is that he originally kept the angel charm under his pillow where he now keeps his knife. Gah!! Thank you for a wonderful story... A carton of peanut M&Ms for you!
