Something worse....something worse.... I'm not ready for this to be over!
Author's Response: LOL! Well, you might be in luck - I might just have one more twist in my little bag of tricks. Great to see you, Dixie - glad you could come along for the ride on this one. Jules

Whew..that was hilarious!! That thing was...*thinks hard*...awkward!! I hate cats! They suck! Thank god Sam's saved by Dean! and Bobby now! Aww.. I can imagine his weird facial expression when he asked them if he was dead or not! hihihi....aww Sammy! Now they all have seen the light, that means that means.... they're gonna break the curse, right! But I can't certainly believe you.... you won;t let those boys that easy, right!! You'll sure find another way to torture them.... X(.... and that's one of many reasons I love you so much :P Can't wait for the next chapter! And oh, the book rocks my socks... what an awesome read. Even when I go to the tuition, I take the book with me. I love love looove it. Hugs you tight, Ritu :)))))))))
Author's Response: You hate cats? Awwww....I have a cat - a blue-eyed, moulting furball called Dolly. But she's not a Sammy-eater like the Tailypo. So thrilled you loved the book, hun. Oh, another way to torture the boys? Welllll.........could be, could be. The story title is Seven Days after all, and midnight's just come.....*winks*... Jules

They saved Sam in extremis. Bad, bad boy Sam, taking advantage of your brother new weakness, tsk, tsk..but so funny, lol. Can't wait for Friday to know if the ritual worked.
Author's Response: Hey, hun! Oh, yes, little brother has decided it's payback time, since the weird curse isn't causing Dean that much damage. Will the ritual work this time, or is Dean in for another day of complete weirdness....*grins*.... Jules

Uh oh - how much worse could it get? Love Sam taking advantage of the curse - little sibling payback! And Bobby's line, 'Now I know why your daddy was always so damned pissed' - awesome! ROFLMAO Off to watch the premiere now - don't know what I'm looking forward to more next Friday! The next eppy or the next chapter! Cal
Author's Response: Thanks, Cal - my beta loved that line, too. It was one of those weird things that just popped into my head while I was writing, so I threw it in and crossed my fingers. Oh, yes, Sam's milking the fun for all it's worth. But he'd better take Dean's advice and sleep with one eye open...... Hope you enjoyed the first eppy. My discussion group had some mixed feelings over it, but I liked it for what it was setting up for the coming season. Jules

Okay, so the clumsiness and fainting spells I can see killing a man, but thumbsucking and farting?.... mmm.... just don't see it having the lethal effect of a headfirst fall into oncoming traffic. What kind of witch was this exactly?
Author's Response: Ah yes, but don't forget, Dean only walked through the residual effects. The full curse could have been much more devastating. Then again, the witch could have been just trying to give a victim a hard time and not actually kill them. Hope you are still enjoying the story. Jules

Ahhh-ahaaaa... Foghorn-ass is going in my vocab :)
Author's Response: Thank you - I like to see Sam's dry wit come into play where possible. We have seen so few examples of it on screen. So glad you liked that line. Or that expression, I should say - lol. Jules

LOL..loved how Sam took advantage of Dean's fainting spells to play some pranks on him..he's right, Dean would do the same. Also loved how even though he played the pranks he was also there to protect him so he wouldn't get hurt. AWWW!! I hope Bobby's found a spell to break the curse..the boys sure need a break. Can't wait till next week. Take care, Jane
Author's Response: Hi, Jane, Yep, Dean wouldn't have hesitated to take advantage if the shoe were on the other foot. Glad you liked Sam's last minute save when he made Dean faint for the umpteenth time - lol. Well, Bobby's found the spell, but as for it working....only a few days wait to find out now. Jules

Jules Thankyou for an absolutely brilliant chapter. I laughed my head off.I can just see Sam holding up those bloody pants and taunting Dean with gory details, but paybacks a bitch and Dean's just the one to give it. Bobby saying he could understand why John was always so pissed - hilarious. can't wait to see if this is the end of the curse or not, somehow I don't think it can be that easy. enjoy the premier, catch you next week. Deb
Author's Response: Ah, thanks, Deb. I could just see Sam getting that sweet revenge after their little blame game - lol. And yep, payback's definitely a bitch. Sam should watch his back..... Is it that easy? Well, the title is Seven Days, and it's now day seven, so....yeah, nah, not going to be that easy - ROFL. I enjoyed the premiere. A number of people didn't, but I was happy with it overall. A few things raised my eyebrows, but I thought it did a great job of setting up the new season - sort of like a pilot episode all over again. Hope you enjoyed it - have you gotten to see it yet? Oh, and if you still have the link, Bardicvoice's review for it is up, and she had some great theories about what went on. Give me a shout if you haven't got it, and I'll email the link through. Fainting...LOL! And Sam is MEAN. I'm not saying he's wrong, but it's still MEAN! :)
Author's Response: LOL - Thanks, Julie. Yes, Sam's a little mean - typical little brother taking advantage where he can. But Dean's warning might not be an empty threat..... And yep, Dean's fainting - at everything! Bet he'll be glad when this week is finally over. Only one day to go now. And what a day...*grins wickedly* Jules

I can't wait to see how this story ends, Jules. Dean's fainting was almost as funny as the....er....gas. LOL I love how Sam was actually having some fun out of it because as he said, Dean would certainly have been doing it to him if the shoe had been on the other foot. I just love the brotherly bickering and this line from Bobby was perfect: "Now I know why your daddy was always so damned pissed." Can't wait for next week's chapter to find out what's going on....I hope! And season six tonight/tomorrow! Doing a happy dance!!
Author's Response: Hey, Sonya, Oh, I'm so pleased this chapter came out that well. I really struggled with the final three chapters. I think Sarah and Chris were relieved when I finally typed End, because it meant I could stop wailing, flailing and beating my head against the desk, because the final three days were a bitch! Ah, you loved Bobby's line? That was just one of those fortunate happenstances - it popped into my head when I was writing the scene. I looked at it, wondered about whether to leave it there, almost deleted it, then left it but with fingers crossed. lol. One more chapter to go now. Jules

So the tailypo was looking for her mate? Sam got lucky this time, probably only because he hit her in between the eyes and got out and although he didn't get away, it bought him enough time to get out in the open and be visible, instead of being eaten. I'm glad Dean had enough in him to get that distracting shot off, so the bitch dropped Sam and Bobby could get in his kill shot. Loved Dean swirling the gun and being happy not to be a klotz anymore just to faint. Poor guy, that's not going to do is macho image any favors. Sam's evil plot to make him faint again and again was too funny, although I did feel sorry for Dean, couldn't help it. Yet it's true, Dean would do the same, if the roles were reversed. So now I wonder if the ritual is going to work, but I tend to believe that it won't, after all, we have one more day and I figure something worse will come Dean's way before it's going to be over. Guess I'll have to wait until next Friday. Hope you gonna have a great season premiere. I can't wait for it. Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: Hey, hun, *hugs* The Tailypo was actually looking for her tail - hence the legend. I'll email you the story when I get home. She thought her tail was missing. And yep, Sam got very lucky that Dean and Bobby weren't too far away when he took the swan dive out of the lair. No, Dean's macho image has definitely taken a battering this week - LOL. He's not going to be a very happy camper once the curse is lifted. As to whether Bobby's spell will work, well......*shrugs and tries to look innocent*.... And yes, if the roles were reversed, Dean would take advantage of Sam's reduced state. But Dean's threat about payback might not be an empty one.... Jules

Don't know what was worse, Dean being a klutz or constantly fainting but the latter certainly gave Sam some fun, probably much needed after the stress of the last few days with all Dean's various curses and a tailypo to hunt! And, if the situation had been reversed, Dean would have had his fun at Sam's expense too, probably taking pics with his camera phone into the bargain! At least the tailypo is no more, and Dean was right about it's lair, so it will be safe for the locals to go back into the woods! Just hope Bobby has got this ritual spot on as they certainly don't need any more curses hitting Dean, guess they will know in the next few minutes! And so had to laugh at Dean fainting at the sight of bird poo on the Impala, hysterical and the dog crapping on the lawn, and Sam opening his mouth full of half chewed food! Dean is certainly going to want payback on his little brother for making him faint for his own amusement! Can't wait until next week to see if the curse is broken! And Supernatural season premiere airing today in the USA, can life get any better? Sarah
Author's Response: Thanks sis, especially for the hand-holding you had to do on this one. Gah, these last three chapters were a bitch to write. And yep, Sam's certainly getting a lot of play value out of Dean's curse at the moment. Oh, yes, Dean would have worn out the flash in his camera phone taking pics of a disadvantaged Sam. Brothers - LOL. So chuffed that it's working out - the weird days, I mean. It was fun to put together, even though days five to seven gave me such a headache! Jules

Oooooooo..... wicked...thanks for the story and the evil picture to go along with. Oh, man, is that Sam's arm? Hm? Yowch! Don't worry, Sam, Dean will sew it make on. I can't wait for the next chapter. Sammy!!!!! Nooooo!!!!!!! LMAO....Dean pulling Sam's hair and falling from the car. Thank you much! Karen
Author's Response: LOL - that's just an artist's rendition of the Tailypo - but I did think it was pretty neat to tie it in with my little cliffhanger. So glad you're loving this, Karen. This chapter was really hard to write, as was the next one. Really gave me grief, and I lost count of how many times I chopped and changed things around. Jules

Not only Dean's clumsiness got him to be hurted and bruised but to Sam and Bobby as well. And now Sam has been taken. What's going to happen next, can't wait to know. Cool pic Jules.
Author's Response: Hey, hun, Yep, Dean's not only bruised and battered himself, but everyone around him, too. Nothing like caring and sharing - LOL. What's going to happen next? Well, the Tailypo's going to ...***********....and then Dean will probably....**********..., and of course that's when Bobby...******************.... And don't forget that at midnight...*** ****** .......*grins*.... Really cool pic, isn't it? I got it off a monsters and creatures site. Jules

Ooooh, love the fulgy! Faintly comedic, yet spooky at the same time! And can't wait for the guilt trip when Dean finally gets a moment to realise his clumsiness sabotaged the hunt, poor boy... Yet another reason to await next Friday with baited breath!
Author's Response: Thanks, Cal, it was a pretty neat fugly. Ah, that famous Winchester guilt - well, it depends on what midnight brings. Is the curse winding down, or will something even more embarrassing happen to Dean, just to completely screw his week? Roll on Friday? LOL. Jules
Reviewer: vonnie836 (Signed) · Date: 18/09/10 11:21 PM · On: Day Five - Things That Go Bump
You didn't just do that, did you? Did you really put a picture of the Tailypo snacking on Sam's ripped off arm in the end of the chapter? How do you expect me to review now? All I can think of is Sam being torn to pieces and eaten. Well, I'm stronger than that, I'll try anyway. Again, this was way to funny for words. Dean, the graceful hunter, even his o-shaped legs look graceful on him, being a complete klutz. He can't even walk without getting tangled up with Sam's legs, can't throw a rock without hitting two people and can't shoot an enemy without knocking a friend out. This is "Bad Day" reversed to Dean. The sad thing is that Dean will load a lot of guilt on himself for hurting his friends, messing up the hunt and causing the Sam to be taken. Poor kid, it's not his fault, it's the curse. I hope he will get this through his thick head eventually. Sam is certainly suffering the effects of the curse and has to keep it together to not loose it. I really want to scold him for his behavior, but it can't be easy and on top of that he is afraid of what might be next for Dean. It's only good that Bobby is keeping his cool. Too bad it didn't keep Bobby from getting knocked out though. Now I just wonder where Sam is and what the Tallypo is doing to him. And what is next for Dean? Can it get any worse? I'm afraid it can, as I have found that your imagination is evil beyond my imagination. Love ya girl, this is fantastic and getting better with every chapter. Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: I did indeed just do that. And I laughed the whole way through. Does that make me evil? Seriously, though, it's not Sammy's arm...though it could be....it's just an artist's rendition of a Tailypo, and the best one I found in my research on the creature. The others were a little too weird fluffy bunny for my purpose. And yep, Dean was uber-klotzy (and I just know I spelled that wrong...*blush*...) Our normally graceful, lethal hunter is tripping over his own feet. And everyone else's - LOL. Ah, Sammy - he's losing his sympathetic streak, isn't he? Oh, dear.....but in his defence, it is a really freaky curse, and he is worried about what the next day will bring. But I'm betting he wishes he'd gone against Bobby's advice and left Dean back at the motel.... Thanks so much, hun - these last few chapters were a royal pain in the proverbial to write. I had a hell of a time getting them finished, then went through endless tweaking and editing before sending them to Sarah. Jules

Please don't let Sammy become Tailypo chow! Dean tried..but this curse is really becoming a real problem. Maybe it will get better now as big brother mode switches on in his hunt for Sam. That is one scary looking creature they are dealing with, but have no doubt they will find their prey and it will be toast..Dean's not gonna let anything happen to Sam. Can't wait for your next chapter..and then the season premiere. Next Friday will be awesome!!!!!
Author's Response: Hi, Jane, Roll on Saturday! Because it will be late Saturday before we can get a peek at the episode. Hopefully.... Now, you know me better than that - would I let Sam get eaten by an overgrown housecat with glowing eyes, a bad attitude and a penchant for long pig? Hmm....well....perhaps....lol. Hopefully Dean's big brother mode can break through the curse, because if it can't......*looks concerned*.... Jules

He took SAM?!? Oh no! BTW, I love that you're using Tailypo. I tell that story- it's SCARY! :)
Author's Response: Hi, Julie, Oh, you do? That's awesome. I stumbled across the Tailypo in a monster search, and lucked onto that pic as well from the same site. When I Googled Tailypo I got a few pics that looked like bunnies gone wild, and while they were weird and a little creepy, they didn't look frightening enough for the purpose of the story. And yep, it's gone and dragged off Sam. Hope it's not hungry yet..... Hope Dean and Bobby find him before he becomes kitty chow... Jules

Yikes..I knew that picture was bad news. Just tell me, it's not my Sammy's arm!! OMG..that tall tail (lol) thing what's its name again! Tailypo's taken Sam and and...Dean's still acting super clumsy!! :S :S It was another hilarious chapter! The way a clumsy Dean hit Sam by his elbow and knocked his little brother out...was totally unexpected. Now, who's gonna save Sam?? Can't wait, can't wait...I CAN NOT WAIT to read the next chapter! SAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMYY :'((( :)) Looooovee it..Ritu :)
Author's Response: Okay, it's not your Sammy's arm...LOL. Yep, Tailypo's got Sam, Dean's knocking everyone out, it's gotten dark, and midnight is looming ever closer, as is a possible messy end for Sam. Who's gunna save Sam? Hopefully big brother can push past the effects of the curse long enough to find little bro before he becomes the Tailypo's next chew toy. Dun-dun-dunnnnnnnnn........ Patience, young Padawan. Jules

Author's Response: I will save Sam, I will save Sam, I will save Sam. Will I? Oh.....all right. LOL! Bet he's the biggest sardine that cat's ever had! Now that's a wicked image for you, Denise. Ah, Sammy - perhaps he'll wake up and get away from the Tailypo. Or perhaps not. Hopefully Dean won't knock himself and Bobby out again before they find Sam. Thrilling times ahead. Thanks, hun! Poor Dean, he's so unused to being unco-ordinated and now he's got to save Sam. Can't wait to see what happens to them in the next chapter. Awesome job Jules. Deb
Author's Response: Thanks, Deb. Bobby was pretty impressive. I could just picture him chasing the cops off - lol. And yes, he does put up with a lot from the boys....especially at the moment. Author's Response: Hun, I know what you mean. Am having one of those myself today. Glad I could cheer you up a little. And yes, a cliffie. I was originally going to have Dean and Bobby not waking up till the next chapter, but I changed my mind. Still, it's a wee bit evil - lol. Saturday down here is when I'll be bouncing hopefully. I think I've had one of those days just like Dean and I can't even blame it on a curse... lol! Poor guy!!! I loved the "feel" you created there at the end when they were hunting- even though the threat was racheted up- I couldnt help but laugh at the whole comedy of errors that was going on thanks to Dean's bumbling around... it played out ala-BDABR-esque... and I just loved it... Was wondering if you were going to leave us hanging on who became Tailypo-chow... and hmmm.. if you become Tallypo-chow- do you then become Tailypoo???? hahahaha sorry- been a looooongggg week... bad /sick sense of humor... *naughty Tree!!!* Cant wait till next week!! Tree
Author's Response: Tailypoo? *snicker* I want some of what you've been having - LOL. I've had a curse day too - not clumsy, just crappy. Am looking forward to going home and crawling into my cave for a while. Especially since I've got an appointment for a mammogram this afternoon after work, and oh, isn't that something to flipping look forward to.....*sigh*....go ahead, make my day... Ah, so glad Dean's bumbling came across so well. It was rather Keystone Cop-ish, wasn't it? I'm relieved actually, that it worked out well, especially the sequence where he knocks Sam and Bobby out. Who knew that a clumsy chapter would be so hard to write, though? *scratches head in confusion* Ah well, Sam's in the claws of a man-eating creature and Dean's cursed - typical night for the Winchesters - LOL. Roll on midnight.....or not..... Jules

Aw, poor Dean! I'm beginning to feel pretty sorry for him in this chapter. Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place--leave Dean alone or take him on the hunt? Knew taking him on the hunt was a bad idea but who knows what would have happened if he'd been left alone? "Am I interrupting somethin', ladies? This your morning yoga class?" That is classic Bobby and just cracked me up! Well, my Friday is off to a great start....new promo sent by Jane and the next chapter to your story. :) I really can't wait to see what happens on day six because whatever it is, it's gonna happen while Dean is in a desperate search for his brother. Bad kitty! Keep your paws off of Sammy.
Author's Response: Hi, Sonya, Glad I could help finish off your week well. And I'm sure you can brighten mine with an update on Sound of Madness - I'm really worried about what Sam's going to do about the rings. And yes, it was a bit of a bad idea taking Dean on the hunt, but seriously, it would have been a bad idea leaving him alone, too - lol. Glad you liked Bobby's dry wit there. Bad kitty - ROFL! That cracked me up. Midnight's getting closer......hopefully they can get to Sam before it rolls over, or before he becomes dinner. Jules

Typical Winchester luck that Dean would be cursed with clumsiness on the day of the hunt, not only a klutz in the motel room but not even managing to make it out of the Impala without getting himself into trouble and clunking Sam in the nose in the process! It goes without saying that with cursed Dean the hunt wouldn't go as planned, inadvertently hampering the others attempts to kill the Tailypo! And now the creature has run off with Sam as his trophy - just hope the other two don't have a concussion, though in Dean's case it couldn't make things much worse! Think poor Bobby is going to have his work cut out, coping with cursed Dean and them trying to find and rescue Sam, plus kill the Tailypo. Can their luck get any worse? And to top it off they still have to find a way to break the curse on Dean! Love the pic of the Tailypo and the severed limb! Sarah
Author's Response: Thanks sis, And yep, our lethally graceful hunter is an absolute klutz in the best Keystone Cops tradition - lol. And of course, it's not midnight yet, so Dean's still clumsy, the Tailypo's dragged Sammy off to have a snack, and Bobby's got his hands full as usual. Wouldn't be dead for quids, eh? As for their luck getting worse....well, we won't know what will happen in the next few hours, or after midnight.... Dun-dun-dunnnnnn Jules
