Oh my, I laughed so much I'm wheezing. Poor Dean. He seems to be exhibiting baby behavior via the supernatural influence? So I'm wondering what's next - burping? crying? coo-coo'ing? It'll have to wait til tomorrow, at least-way past lights out for me! Sue
Author's Response: *chuckles* I've been so damned tickled by everyone's reaction to this chapter! But then at the same time I worry that the rest of them will fall flat! There's just no pleasing us writers, is there....*sigh*.... But I'm thrilled that I could give you such a great laugh. And yes, poor baby....*rubs hands together in unholy glee*....my, whatever else do I have in store for him.... I basically sat down one day and tried to think up the most embarrassing things I could have Dean do - and this is the result of my evil musings. And Tree's help with the research, of course! Hope you enjoy the rest of the days! Jules

My, what an interesting way to start the story. I can just see Dean bitching that some other hunter beat them to the fugly and left them spinning their heels at the already-fixed site. His idea about Bobby's Angels was funny, altho Bobby as a central clearinghouse for the other hunters isn't that far off the mark'-) I laughed at the hunting a ghost in Casper line, I've used it myself. The irresistable urge to have Dean gripe, "Dude, we're hunting a casper in Casper?";-) can't be denied...like Dean and his thumbsucking. At first I thought the wrong brother was exhibiting the symptoms of the white residue attack when Sam was grumbling about his lack of sleep and aching back, but Dean's acting way stranger than usual. I was gonna stop here and get my zzzz's, but how can I stop with the boys the way they are now? Sue
Author's Response: Hi, Sue, How's your New Year going so far? I'm thrilled that you loved Bobby's Angels - and yes, as we learned, it really isn't too far off the mark - LOL. Casper - I don't know how I lucked onto that, actually. I remember studying the map, and finding the town, and thinking - I've GOT to use that! I probably back-tracked from Casper to Shoshone, but I can't remember why I picked that state in the first place, unless it was near to whatever episode I set it after. And no, Dean's thumbsucking cannot be denied - lol. Neither can what else is in store....*laughs evilly* Hope you enjoy the ride, Sue. Jules

I'm sorry, but i laughed my ass off reading this story!! My fav stories are the funny ones so this was AMAZING! Thanks for the laughs!!! It was great!
Author's Response: Well, I'm totally chuffed that you did so! I love the humour stories. They are a nice little holiday from the angsty ones, which sometimes get a bit draining on the old emotions, especially if real life throws in a slam or two at the same time. And the boys have such great senses of humour that it's nice to trot the one-liners out occasionally. Might have to try my hand at an all-out prank war one of these days - lol. I'd been working on this idea for a while - gathered all my facts for each chapter, and the remedies for Bobby to supply, but then one thing after another kept pushing the story further back in the schedule, or dragged me away from it completely. It originally started out as being much shorter, and my intention was to post one very short chapter per day, so it was like we were walking through the week with Dean. But I've moved way beyond short chapters now - ROFL! I couldn't keep them at a thousand words no matter how I tried. So I just let it blow out to a full-sized story and kept to my usual posting schedule of every Friday night. Thanks so much for reading, and again, I'm thrilled that I could give you a good laugh. Jules Oh, and welcome to UnGen! Hope you'll be very happy here. It's a great place, both for readers and writers.

Oh wow that story was so amazing and so funny, Jules! I loved it from beginning to end. My husband even came in to see why I was laughing so hard. Man all those curses together at once - poor Dean can't even handle his own flactuations - that was so funny. And I don't blame him for being mad after the whole thing was over I'd be pissed too. But what an intoxicating story I couldn't stop reading. I loved where Sam said that if they went fast enough they might outrun the smell. Too funny and then Dean threatening Sam with a shotgun - and Sam running away with no shoes on and no lock pick so he can't get back in. A wonderful story from start to finish and I look forward to reading it again sometime. I think this is one I'd enjoy reading several times. Great job a well deserved 5 star story and two thumbs way way up!!!!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, hun. It was fun to write, actually. Well, a couple of chapters did have me banging my head against the keyboard in frustration, but I got there in the end. Actually, the last chapter was the hardest. Trying to remember to keep hitting Dean with everything at once and not have it repetitive was a pretty difficult trick. Oh, so glad you loved Dean driving Sam from the motel with the threat of a buttload of rocksalt. I had to have some little bit of payback - but not too much. After all, Sam was just being a typical little brother. And he was right in what he said to Bobby - if the roles had been reversed, Dean would have taken full advantage - lol. Thanks again for coming along on this crazy ride. Jules

Another wonderful chapter, Jules. Good that they were able to finish off the Tailypo but bad that Dean now has fainting spells. So funny though. Sam totally took advantage of that phase of the curse - first with the blood stained pants and then half chewed up food in his mouth. I love how Dean fainted at everything, a bug splattering itself on the windshield, a dog relieving itself on someone's lawn, bird droppings on the impala. Too funny. Wonderful chapter I look forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Hey, Candace, Yep, Sam's really going to milk this for all it's worth, since Dean isn't in any real danger...well, if you don't count the possibility of him knocking himself on the head every time he faints.... Poor Dean....our big, tough, fearless hunter fainting at the sight of bird poo and bug guts. LOL Jules
Reviewer: Deanwinchesterfan1985 (Signed) · Date: 31/10/10 12:03 PM · On: Day Four - Heroes Cry Too
Poor Dean having such an emotionally draining day. Although him crying over chick flicks was hilarious. Looks like Sam is getting really annoyed with Dean's little perks each day and some of the things he said in front of Bobby weren't very nice, even though if Dean were acting like himself he probably would've just smacked Sam upside the head. I loved the whole tied him to the impala's roof though and I love the banner your aunt made you. Very funny. Another wonderful chapter under your belt, Jules. I look forward to the next one.
Author's Response: Yep, Sam's getting a little frustrated over all the weirdness....and it's not over yet. Poor Dean - I rather enjoyed torturing him in weird and wonderfully embarrassing ways. And no, Sam wasn't exactly being sympathetic, was he? Payback might be in order....*winks*.... Ah, thank you. I was rather proud of that line. And Chris' banner - thank heavens I was on my own in the office when she emailed it to be, because I just burst out laughing. The look on Dean's face is classic! Jules

So Dean stopped to smell the flowers in this chapter huh? LOL I loved how he always found how pretty everything was - it was so funny. It was almost like he was concussed himself and was so fascinated with everything. Poor Sam though when the big scary monster finally did show up. But at lease he has an idea now of what is going on with his brother. Another wonderful chapter - I especially liked the conversation between Sam/Bobby/Dean it was so funny. Looking forward to reading the next chapter.
Author's Response: Flower-power Dean was pretty sweet and funny, wasn't he? The real Dean would have beaten his head against a tree rather than hugging it - lol. And yep, big scary monster has whacked Sam upside the head. Let's see if he even remembers the clue he's been given to Dean's bizarre behaviour. Thanks for reading, Candace! Sorry it's taking me so long to catch up on reviews. Real life - garh! Jules

Oh my gosh I think I cracked a rib I was laughing so hard at this chapter. Holy crap it was so funny, but poor Dean. I loved Sam's first reaction in the morning when Dean first released his gas and then how it steadily got worse throughout the day. Poor Dean in that diner oh my gosh I couldn't stop laughing and almost couldn't keep reading the chapter because I had tears running down my face - I must have burned off so many calories. And the very end of the chapter too was so funny "Good night, Dean." Prrrrt...prrrt....prrrt...prrrt... "Uh, gahhh..." "Shut up, Sam." Too funny - I'm excited to read more.
Author's Response: LOL! That particular scene right at the end, and in the diner, was one of the first rough notes I jotted down when I first got the idea for the story. I actually completely cracked up both my banner-maker and my beta when they got to that diner scene. So I figured I'd hit the right note there - no pun intended....well, okay, a little pun. Seriously, there's just something hilariously embarrassing about passing wind, so I just stuck Dean in a diner full of people and let him rip! Exquisite torture of the fun kind. Jules

Very funny first chapter, Jules! I loved it! I loved when Dean said he had to go to the bathroom and Sam said that he didn't he was just trying to sneak off so he could go suck his thumb and then Dean sending Sam in to go get take out to save himself the embarrassment of facing waitress again and also to give himself some alone time with his thumb, but of course Sam didn't fall for that and wrenched the door open to pull Dean's thumb out of his mouth almost as soon as Dean stuck it in there. But then Dean hit him below the belt, literally, poor Sam. I'm really enjoying this so far. Great work as always!
Author's Response: Hey, Candace, Sorry I haven't answered your email yet - have had a few issues and crazy things going on lately. Ah, you loved our poor Dean sucking his thumb, eh? LOL. I tried to torture him with the most ridiculous things I could think of, and what better for our macho hunter than to be reduced to a two-year-old's habits? And yep, Dean definitely struck back below the belt - lol. Ouch...... Thanks hun! Jules

"Aw, look at the clouds, Sammy - that one's shaped like a bunny! You used to love bunnies." /~~~~~~~~~~~ Loved that above. He he. Great story. Hated to see it end. Everything happening to Dean at once -- grand finale -- should have guessed. Thanks, Jules for writing and sharing with us. Karen
Author's Response: Thanks for that, Karen - it was great to have you along for the ride on this one. I'd been working up to this chapter, but oh, gosh, it was really hard, believe it or not. Trying to do everything at once without it being repetitive was quite a feat. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing - I'm glad I could give you a laugh or three, my friend. Jules

Once again, an excellent entry! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!!! (Just a thought - since you have connections with Tree66, could there even be a miniscule chance that the two of you could collaborate and finish her wonderful story, Worthy. I'm sure you are both very busy people but I got into that fic hook, line and sinker and would love to know what would have been..... Anyway, just a passing thought from a fic fan of both you and Tree.)
Author's Response: Dixie, I will do my very best. I love that story, too, and am Tree's beta for it. She's at the Con this weekend, but I'll email her, and hopefully when she gets back we can start working on the next chapter. I want to see what she's got planned as well. She's left my Dean out in the wilderness with a monster on his arse - LOL. Thanks so much for your review - I'm glad you enjoyed Seven Days. hugs Jules

Those curses were...well.... *thinks hard for an appropriate word* ... bad! :S lol.... Awesome story so far! You're awsam :) Happy Birthday!! Hope you'll have a blast! :D Hugs, Ritu :)))
Author's Response: The story's finished. Another one bites the dust, as they say. Thank you, sweetie, I'm really thrilled you enjoyed it so much. And see - the Tailypo didn't eat your Sammy - lol. Those curses were, in a word, too freakin' weird - and therein lies the fun! Thanks - I had a pretty nice day, all things considered. I really, really loved this story and waited anxiously for each new chapter. Chapter two was my favorite! I laughed so hard I felt like an idiot. Dean and the gas problem. What a blast! No pun intended. Please keep the stories coming! You really know how to keep Sam and Dean in character. You write as well (and in some cases) better than the actual writers. Thanks for the awesome job.
Author's Response: Thank you so very much, Judy. That's the highest compliment a writer can be paid. I try very hard to keep them in character, so it's always a thrill to know that I got it right (and a relief - lol) Ah, chapter two - yes, I completely cracked up my banner-maker on that one, and I think my beta was giggling uncontrollably all through the chapter when she got it to correct. What a blast, indeed....actually, several...ROFL! And no worries about keeping the stories coming. There are around twenty or so in my unfinished stories folder - it's just getting the time to sit down and complete each one. Anyone got a money tree they can give me so I can stay home and write full-time? No? Oh, well - worth an ask. So glad you enjoyed it. Jules

I thought for one moment that the ritual didn't work and the next stage was angry Dean. After his week of hell I think Sam deserved a little payback, lol. That was a funny all the way. Nicely done Jules
Author's Response: Hey, hun, Ah! No, not an eighth curse, just Dean reacting badly to his week of mild hell and uber embarrassment - lol. He'll never be able to walk into that diner again... And yes, Sam really did ask for that one, didn't he? His teasing and lack of sympathy for his poor big brother's plight has come back to haunt him. Especially now that he's running around the streets of Casper in his pyjamas! Thanks so much for coming along for the ride. Jules

Wonderful end. Very in spirit with the show :) Hysterical!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for that. And thank you for coming on this crazy roller-coaster ride of a story. I'm really pleased that you enjoyed it. And I just had to have a bit of payback for Sam after Dean's week of hell and his little brother's somewhat less than helpful attitude at times - lol. Poor Dean....and poor Sammy. Thanks again, Jules

This was one hilarious fic, Jules! I love how Dean paid Sam back at the end. Sam should have known he wasn't going to give Dean a hard time without some kind of repercussion. I'm gonna have to catch the other fic later but I had to finish this one tonight. :)
Author's Response: Thanks, Sonya. Geez, the final chapter gave me grief, believe it or not. It was really hard hitting Dean with everything at once and still keeping the story moving. Next time I decide to torture my favourite boy, remind me to pick something simple, eh? And yeah, couldn't let little brother get off completely scot-free - lol. Had to have a bit of payback - even the hinted kind. Really pleased you enjoyed this crazy ride so much, hun. See you when you surface from your Chicago trip and your J2 high. Jules

heee, payback really is a bitch! Love poor Dean getting hit with the full whammy all at once, and then his reaction when the curse finally lifts. Oh, and Bobby buying them that 'kit' - he's a brave, brave man... Lovely, funny fic, thanks for sharing! Cal
Author's Response: Aww, thanks, Cal. I'm chuffed that you were on board for this one, and that I could give you a laugh or three. Ah, Bobby - well, only he could get away with it, couldn't he? If Sam had done it, I don't think Dean would have just threatened him with that shotgun.... That was the bit that Tree helped me with the most, actually. I sent her this weird list of symptoms and asked her what over-the-counter preparations I could use for each one. I'm sure she was scratching her head for days, wondering what the hell I was going to do with it all - LOL. Thanks, hun. Jules

"Drive fast," Sam instructed as he slid into his usual position as shotgun. "Maybe we can outrun the smell." No, Sam... not even the Impala can pull off that feat! LMAO! Well hun.. you certainly wrapped this one up nicely- whammied our boy on that last day to where I think even I would have dug a whole and crawled in... I loved your resolution at the end - Dean's embarrassment- Bobby's ribbing - and of course- the brotherly banter (Dean cocking the shotgun and the less than idle threat!) It played out so realistically that I could hear and see the Bobby - Dean interaction and even Sam's hasty retreat. Loved it all! Thanks for the less-angsty read. Much needed! Tree
Author's Response: Happy to oblige with the angst-free reading. And thank you for the help with Bobby's little emergency first aid kit - LOL. Now you know what I did with it all! Yes, I was rather mean to our boy at the end, wasn't I? But when I first got the idea for the story a year ago, I fully intended to have that last day with everything.....just didn't know how blasted hard it would be to write it! Poor Dean - I so tortured him in this one. And I smiled evilly all the way through.... Thanks hun - really glad you enjoyed it and got a few laughs along the way. Thanks again for your help on this one. It wouldn't have been anywhere near as funny without your input. Jules

All I can say is, poor Dean! Having all the symptoms at once could have driven anyone insane and then the ritual at the witches house not working was really kinda the last straw. He really did good to keep going. At least Sam was a little bit more understand and seemed really worried and distressed. Good to know it was finally over after that. Dean's breakout was funny and sounded so much like him. I guess I'm lucky you didn't use any of the language he used, I think my ears would be ringing for the next year. Bobby buying the pacifiers and all the other supplies was too funny and probably his way to get a little 'revenge' for being put through all of that. Dean threatening to shoot Sammy, now that was the creme de la creme. Poor kid, running around with his hurt leg and no shoes, tee shirt and sweats. But even a SamGirl like me has to agree that he deserved it and I got a good chuckle out of it. Wonderful story, too bad it's over, but getting two treats today was wonderful. Hope you still have something ready for next week or at least soon after that. Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: Hey, hun! Yes, I don't think there would have been too much paint left on the bathroom walls by the time Dean got out of there - lol. Poor Dean! Ah, you liked Sam's hasty retreat in his pj's? LOL. Just had to throw in a little payback there - Sam really did take advantage a few times, didn't he? Wonder how long he intended to hide in that stand of shrubs...? So glad you loved this crazy story, hun. I'm really thrilled it could give you a laugh. hugs, Jules

Thanks for both your posts today!!! Loved this story, the Friday morning chuckles, and big laughs! have all been a delight. And what you did to Dean. Well....it was just so wonderfully upside down. Great ending. a86;a86;a86;
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Jo. And how's your poor foot? Hope it's healing well. Ah, poor Dean, I did torture him a bit in this one, didn't I? But no permanent damage...apart from his ego, which was pretty much pounded into the dust...*grins wickedly*... I loved the upside-down-ness of the curse gone wrong, and the challenge of pushing it to crazy limits to see what I could do to give Dean a very lousy week. So glad you enjoyed my efforts. Jules

Author's Response: Hi, Julie. Thank you so much. I'm chuffed that it made you smile. Oh, and blush, too - lol. Yes, I was pretty mean to my boy in this one, wasn't I? Am I bad to feel a sort of unholy glee over that fact? Sometimes one has to take a break from the angst and heavy drama and throw in something light-hearted. Jules, perfect ending to a perfect story. Absolutely loved "helpfull" bobby stocking up thier first aid kit. I don't know who to feel more sorry for, Dean having all symptoms at once or Sam and Bobby having to travel with him while he did! Thankyou for another brilliant story. As for the premier, I was still a bit undecided the first time I saw it but after reading a couple of reviews, including Bardicvoice's and giving it another watch I've decided to be optimistic and trust the writers of this awesome show who have never let me down.
Author's Response: Deb, thank you so much. Helpful Bobby - ROFL! And helpful Tree, giving me all the over the counter medications - along with help from Micaiah and Muffy for the PMS one. I think I'd sort of feel sorrier for Dean, if I was asked. Especially given the fact that he really can't go back into that diner ever again after almost blowing the walls down.... You know, I loved the premiere for all the questions it gave us, and the scene-setting for the new season. But I was really unhappy with the second episode for some reason. It was sort of like watching a pilot - the first eppy, I mean. But the second - I don't know. Third eppy was better, and the fourth just rocked. I'm still hopeful for the season, despite all the negativity flying around out there. Little bits are being revealed as we go along, and I'm still pretty sure we're in good hands with Sera Gamble at the helm. Jules

Awesome final chapter Jules! OMG poor Dean being afflicted with every aspect of the curse all at once, and poor Sam and Bobby to have to suffer with him, particularly with the flatulence! Was a little worried that the curse would not be broken at all, especially when they returned to Shoshone, did the ritual, and nothing seemed to have changed. Not surprised Sam returned later and burned the property down! Guess they just had to wait until midnight as that was the witching hour! Not surprised Dean was so angry after he was back to normal, the embarrassment he had suffered that week was just too much to take calmly! And Bobby certainly took his life in his hands getting those 'supplies' for the kit, he got off lightly though as Dean turned his anger on Sam for laughing and then decided on payback for his less than sympathetic attitude and having fun at his expense that week! So funny the ending, of course Dean would not shoot his brother, but the image of Sam running out that motel room like a scalded cat was hysterical! And Bobby seeing him hiding in someones front garden as he passed on his way out of town .......... ! So loved this story Jules, your inventive mind and witty turn of phrase had me in stitches!
Sarah
Author's Response: Awww, thanks, sis. And thanks for the hand-holding. I was working steadily towards this one, which is why I didn't tell you what I had planned and went all mysterious instead when you asked me - lol. Wanted it to be a surprise when you beta-ed it. And yes, the witching hour did it - they had to wait till midnight for the curse to be really broken. Ah, Bobby - well, only he could have gotten away with it. Sam he could threaten, but Bobby.....Dean might have been at risk of being force-fed that shotgun - LOL. Glad you loved that little scene with Sam taking off like his pants were on fire - and thanks for the help with my endless tweaking of that same scene. hugs Jules

A bug squashing itself against the windscreen, a dog crapping on someone's front lawn, the sight of Sam's blood - one look, and Dean had gone down for the count, sagging like a wet noodle against the front passenger seat. /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Excellent ...blach! I love that above...and Dean passing out all the time...how do you come up with this stuff? Just great! Really great. Sam seeing how many times he can make Dean swoon. Ha ha! You are so bad. I adore your imagination. I understand about rearrangng things 'till you think you might go crazy. You sure can't tell -- your words are flawless. Awaiting more. Any one shots coming up from you? Be well, and thank you for all the fun you provide us! Karen
Author's Response: Hey, Karen! Yes, there is a one-shot in the wings. A friend is trying to get me to post it this week, actually, but I'm not sure. Banner's not ready, and there's one more chapter of this one to post. Jury's still out on my decision. So thrilled that you loved fainting Dean. How did I come up with it? I came up with the farting first, and then I think the fainting, then the thumb-sucking - I just basically sat down one day and tried to imagine the most embarrassing things I could do to Dean that could stretch over a week, and the story grew from there. Not long to go now before the final chapter. hugs Jules
