A great balance of sad and funny!  Dean putting his soul up on E-bay was particularly funny.  You've captured Dean's attitude and lingo seamlessly.  Well done!

Author's Response:

Thank you so, so much. Truly honored you felt that way. Often times think I'm heavy-handed with the humor.

So, that comment really hit home for me!

 Be well,

Karen

That is a blue ribbon well deserved.  Very awesome job.  Just like the boys, up and down in their emotions. made me smile with a tear in my eye.  :)

Hey, Karen,

That was such a heartbreaking ending to that episode, wasn't it? It really was a handing over from Dean's point of view, and the look on Sam's face when he got it brought tears to my eyes.

Love drunk Sam - he's so hilarious. But sad, too. Loved his determination to save his brother no matter what the cost.

And Dean, just as determined to have his brother not do anything to save him.

Such a sad time - both brothers so desperate and running out of options.

Great work, hun.

This is a nice story, Karen. I want to say 'cute'- but I wont- cause cute and SPN just done seem to go together. And I dont want to say 'angsty'- cause while its a little angsty... considering the time frame- you do an awesome job of keeping it a bit lighter.

So maybe I'll just let the pretty blue ribbon speak for me instead. Well done- and a fabulous tag to an eppy that seemed to end a bit abrupt- although I did love the fact that Dean handed over the tools to the car to his lil bro.

Nice job of wrapping in the whole- lying on the car/ staring at the stars thing! Loved it!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, Tree, for the detailed reveiw! I know what you mean about the whole 'cute' thing. There is a fine line to be had there and I hate when I cross it. Not always easy to balance out that act. I am so thrilled to no end you liked.

I wrote this last Feb, just thought I'd post some of my older stories over here.

Be well and thanks again millions of stars.

Karen
