I always loved that scene in Fresh blood, and one of my fave Youtube fan-videos starts off with that clip, so this hits all the right buttons for me!

It's kind of funny to read this now, after those moments in Fresh Blood. I have to say the first time I saw the ep (long after I posted this) I thought WTH? LOL LOL

So touching..love the part about Sam watching out for Dean from a distance. Even when they're not getting along, they still watch out for each other. Thanks for sharing this one again, Muffy. Great choice!!

This is beautiful - I especially love the last paragraph. I'm sure I must have read this, but great to read it again - interesting to re-visit it after Fresh Blood too!

Awwwwww.......
They were so broken, so lost, after John's death. Trust the Impala to bring them back together, tentative as it is. But a sort-of truce is better than no truce at all, and it's a start.
Loved the flashback, hun, with an eager wide-eyed Sammy wanting just to be around his big brother.
And of course, loved the Impala linking them together, in the past and the present. And the future....
Well done, hun. Ooh, and I'm the first reviewer! ...*pats self on head*....

*hugs* You are first YOU ARE FIRST! Thank you so much! I love the picture (in my head) of the two of them working on the car when they were young. The Impala is such a focus in the early seasons, it seems less so now (until that last ep!) and I miss that.
