I am enjoying the storya, but I miss the bond between Dean and Sam in this story. Maybe Dean could come for a visit? :/ This chapter explains how they got to the point that Sam has to obey John. I like how John did the spell out of love to protect Sam and nor because he is being a jerk like some stories have him.
Author's Response: I'll never write John as a jerk, trust me, I love him way too much for it. Though I gotta admit it's really a challenge to not smack him on the head every time he hurts Sam. Sam and Dean do have a bond in this story, it's just not the focus of this story. There will be scenes between them later and, yes, many people have asked me, there will also be scenes with Dean and wolf!Sam (people really want to read that I understand from all the comments ;) ) but the main focus will always be on John and Sam. I hope you can enjoy the rest of the story nevertheless! :) Thank you!

Taking about heartbreaking, this whole chapter was one giant heartbreak. John can be so harsh. I mean I see his point, but he really needs to see Sam's point too. And then Dean's talk with Sam leading into more desperation. That the kid manages to get up every morning, function at all is amazing. This is so hopeless and feeling out of control has to be the worst thing there is. Really great chapter. You managed to get into both the boys heads. Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: The thing with John is... I don't think he'll ever allow himself to see Sam's side cause he knows he won't be able to protect him then (or do what he thinks/hopes is protecting him). It's a little like what he once said on the show, he can't react as "reckless" on a hunt if he knows his kids are there and he has to look out for him, he can't make decisions that may seem crue but will save their lives (or get him to find Mary's killer). Or, in this case, make sure that Sam lives another day. Though, by thinking like that, he's hurting Sam worse than any monster ever could and I think he knows that, he just can't really act on it. But I have something planned for that (though for a later, much later chapter) and he might eventually see Sam's side. How Sam gets up every day... No idea, really, I think it's basically his stubbornness and a tiny, tiny hope at the back of his mind that there might be a cure. Thank you!

Liked the hurry with which Dean came back, not staying for a night out or anything, just to make sure Sam was alright.The teasing between them was fun too, but I really loved the talk they had, the reluctance with which Sam talked about what happened and how it felt. There was so much suffering in this, although it wasn't happening right then, but I felt like Dean at that moment. Really great chapter. Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: You know, Sam has always been very difficult to write if he doesn't want to talk about stuff, but this Sam... Think the wolf's making him twice as stubborn as he usually is... And Dean just wants Sammy to be okay and there's absolutely nothing he can do and that's killing him. SO glad you're enjyoing it! *hugs back*

So, after last night, when i read this stoty till 3 in the morning, I wanted to tell you again. This is wonderful! Completely new idea! I am looking forward for next chapters( i hope, it will be soon!). I am interested in Sam´s POV. You actually wrote his POVwhen he is wolf, but what about human. I think, i might be pretty difficult to write something like this, so I dont care, if you will write it or not. It is totaly exciting story. I need more. You know, I swore not to read uncompleted storis, but this... I have to do it. But of course, i will regret it till nex chapter, so, please, don´t let me ( and I am sure many others) to suffer too long. Oh, and sorry for my so poor english, I can fluently read, but my active knowlege - it is terrible, i know it.
Author's Response: Aw, man, I really don't want to make you lose sleep! But you have no idea how much this made me smile!! The next chapter is done, I'm waiting for it from my beta and will post it as soon as I have it, maybe tomorrow? :) I've tried three times already to write something from Sam's POV, but I just can't make it work. I don't know why, really, no idea, it's hard to get into his head as a wolf but as a human he just completely blocks me. Maybe that will change later, maybe I can finally write some drabble about it or a missing scene or something like that, I don't know, but at the moment I don't know how to make it work. And I will post as soon as possible, don't want to make people suffer!!! Thank you so much! Miki

Quite an interesting start, immediately roped me in and made me want to read more. What really happened to Sam? Obviously some bitch cursed him and it can't be revered, but there is more to it, isn't there. And what's going on now? what's calling him? I'm glad I got more to read. Probably can't read it all at once, as there is RL, but at least I can read whenever I want. Definitely a great story. Hugs, Vonnie

Author's Response: Well, to be honest, I wasn't really sure if I wanted to continue writing it since it was more like an idea for a scene than for a whole story, but I think I have no choice, I already have a few things I want to write. So, as soon as I'm done with the next part I'll post it! :)
