Loved it!!!! At the beginning, the tension between the brothers painfully rang true, as did their feeble attempts to pretend all was OK. (I did have to giggle at the Snow White porn comments!) Sam clearly was working under the false premise of "doing what's best" when he drugged Dean and ran off to "study" with Ruby. I enjoyed the description of Dean's angry, then exhausted trek to the cave.....lovely imagery of the surroundings!
Dean's entire encounter with the beautiful/enticing, then dangerous Faeries was fantastic. Their sadistic plans jolted Dean into hunter mode and the fight scene was quite exciting. Of course Sam's entrance was perfectly timed!
Kudos to you for pulling Cas and Zach into the story which then flawlessly segued into It's a Terrible Life. Brilliant. Wonderful job!
Author's Response: Your review made my morning Terri!
So glad you liked it so much, especially the segue to It's a Terrible Life because that was actually an accident (kind of). I'd originally wanted to set this directly after Sex and Violence, but thanks to the awesome fans who've done all the research, when I checked the timeline, I found there was no gap there, and this was the next suitable place it could fit. But that then meant I could explore a little bit how the Smith and Wesson universe came about and bring Zach into the mix - which was great, as he's one of my fave characters!
