I enjoyed so much the latest chapters and this one is no exception. What a surprise to have Missouri coming to help Dean. OMG!What's going on with both of them, can't wait for your next update Mal.

A cliffie! You evil, evil woman!! Come back here and write the rest of it! I'm just dying to know what is going on with Dean and Missouri. I'm sure the bracelet is the key and a link to Paul. I dearly hope Paul will help Dean. He really needs it and deserves it. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I noticed no blemishes... possibly because I was rapt by the story! Can't wait to find out what is happening to Missouri and Dean and what they are learning... I'm surprised that the obvious pain and distress that Dean is causing Sam and David hasn't snapped him out of his funk though...
Author's Response: Aw. yer too kind! I always pick up a few mistakes in the preview mode here, but as I said, I timed out and had to begin again. By that time I was too impatient to correct any more. Man--I keep trying to wrap up this story, but the end eludes me like a snake in the grass.

Thanks for your update Mal! I'm grateful that Fr. Elliot wasn't killed by something supernatural. Although his demise is again a bump in the road for the Winchesters I am glad that you came up with another -brilliant- idea who could possibly be of help. Yay for Missouri!!! Although she has only been in one episode way back I think everybody liked her and wished for her return. I am very positive that she might be able to help although I have no clue what the "bells" might be. Great new twist! As always, looking forward to more. Happy weekend!

What a happy surprise! Both that you had a new chapter up so soon (this was just a random click-by!!) AND that Missouri is riding in to the rescue!! I so wish we could have had more of her in the series... I can forgive you for by-passing Father Elliot now... LOL! I'm dying to know what the bells are that she's hearing - and who the little red man is! You know, I just learned recently that the person they were supposed to go to for help in the S1 finale was Missouri - NOT Bobby! The episode was about to start filming when Loretta Devine got a movie role and was unavailable so they had to scamble around and create the character of Bobby... As much as I would have liked more Missouri, I'm so happy that we got Bobby....
Author's Response: Missouri Mosely is a character worthy of expanding, I think. I liked Fr. Elliot, but his input was limited. I wish him well......

Well, I must say I'm hoping Missouri has some messages from the other side (perhaps Paul?) that will lift Dean's spirits. Dean seems so lost and unhappy. I'm not sure what will come of Missouri's visit but I'm really looking forward to it. Broke my heart to see Sammy so distressed. Sniffle. Can't wait until the next chapter.

How terribly tragic! I was so hoping Father Eliot could help Dean but looks like fate had other ideas. I'm glad that Dean is awake and aware of what has been happening. I do believe he'll do his best for Sam's sake if nothing else. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

Oh, you're on a roll, Mal :) Thanks for the fast update. Oh dear, everytime I think we turned the corner you manage to come up with a new twist. Even if Fr. Elliot "just" died of natural courses, who will help Dean now?? The drugs he gets sound almost like a chemo therapy. He will need a positive outlook an life fast or will go down. OMC! You killed Father Elliot!!!! I was so hoping - even more by the end of the chapter - that this would finally help Dean pull out of his spiral... I'm not sure what's going to do it now... I thought seeing how much harm he'd done to Sam and David would help, but we'll see... And thank you so much for the super-speedy update!!!
Author's Response: Fr. Elliot had a key...but it perhaps was not the only one. He died at peace after a life-time of giving. Dean and Sam simply need to find that same key to peace in their own realm. Crossing my fingers for them....

Shoewee! I'm so relieved that they caught up to Dean and he is where he needs to be. Dennis is really becoming someone to admire! I'm worried about the treatment Dean is getting. I hope it doesn't do too much harm. Sam must be so relieved and worried, too. I well imagine the priest and Sam will have an interesting conversation. I'm really looking forward to reading the next chapter.

I love the concept that all these seemingly random characters could still be interconnected. It happens that way in life- and I like that you had them connect together for Dean. That was just awesome!!!! I'm anxious to see what Fr. Elliot says to Sam- I like that he's pieced things together about Dean too- and I loved his assumptions of how It seemed he made it his business to hunt such things....Why? Why did he put himself in such peril? What drove him to this good work? A vocation..? Another way to serve God? It was a nice contrast to how others just assumed Dean to be just another street bum/druggee/ etc... Another great chapter- and again- while I dont often get or take the time to say it- WELL WORTH THE WAIT AS ALWAYS!!! Well done, Mal!!!

So god to see an update Mal! You are always worth the wait. I am relieved that they found Dean and he will receive proper treatment now. Hopefully the meds will kick in soon. But knowng him (and you!) he isn't out of the woods yet. Interesting connection between the mission and the father and the curch Dean orginally went to trying to find peace. I'm always happy to see an update - and you are always worth waiting for! I'm really still hoping that Father Elliot can bring Dean the peace he needs... I'm hoping that part of his depression is a factor of his infection. Knowing Dean, he will no doubt have every possible side effect...

Poor Dean, beating up like he was is so not good in his condition. Thank goodness he's safe in a shelter for the moment but time is running out, hope that Sam and David'll find him pretty soon. What's going to happen next, can't wait to know.

I was soooo happy to see an update so soon!!! Poor Dean - I'm hoping though that he will finally get the comfort he was looking for from Father Elliot... Yikes! Dean is really deteriorating quickly out on the streets. I was really worried when those thugs came upon him. How fortunate that Lucas found him and now Father Elliot. I'm hoping they call 911 and get him back to the hospital. Sam, David, and Dennis are really frantic to get Dean back. I'm hoping they find Dean soon or Sam is gonna lose it! Looking forward to the next chapter!

No!Just when Dennis found what's wrong with Dean and an antibiotic to heal him Dean is no where to be found. Sam is going to worried sick when he'll notice that Dean is not in his room anymore. They must find him as soon as possible, he's weak, feverish and maybe confused by now. Can't wait for more.
