Just coming back from a long vacation and totally happy that I got to read 2 chapters at once! Awesome updates. OMG, poor Dean, can he never get some peace. Although I do understand the surgeon a bit, I could kick him. There must be another way! I have a bad feeling about Dean leaving and not staying at David's even if this is better for the doc. Let's see what you will have in store for us next. I can't wait. As always, loving your story!

Another great update! I'm appreciating you so much more now that there is almost nobody posting (that I'm interested in reading! LOL!) Poor Dean - I keep saying that! - but I knew he'd refuse to go to David's to try to protect him... this can't end well... I do hope David can at least convince him to take the pain meds... but somehow, I doubt that will end well either... Can't wait for the next update!!!

Mmm, not sure what to think of dr. Dennis. It looks like he's a bit on Dean's side as well with regard to letting the vague story about what happened go for the moment, but a doctor should never put the hospital in first place.

Well he is a cad! I know he is thinking of the hospital, but still, to treat Dean that way when he really is helpless and in oh such pain and befuddled. I hope David and Sam can get Dean to a safe place before the police get involved. Looking forward to the next part!

Exciting, suspenseful! One thing you might have added, though -- Dean knew she was human, it seems, but he might have thought through it for us readers. I wondered if she was or not right up to now, when the vampires have told us she's a friend to them.

Happy Holidays! and YEAH - you're back! Great update - and thank you for not rushing the ending - I'm looking forward to the aftermath of this hunt - so much of which the brothers have spent as the hunted and not the hunters... It was good to see what David would take away from this and that he and Sam seem ok - I'm betting he won't have such an easy time with Dean. I'm also curious to see how this entire episode is going to affect their future relationship. I'm betting that Dean is going to want to keep David safe.... Enjoy the rest of the holidays - you know we will always be waiting when you have time to update!

Yikes! Dean really seems to be in bad shape (again!). Luckily, Johan is dead and it took all of them to do it! What a way to go! Dean seemed like he didn't have the energy to carry on. That knife wound seems serious. I'm glad that David was able warn Dean not to pull out that knife or he'd bleed out. Shoewee! Poor Sammy, he must be out of his mind with worry (again!). I'm really looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Oh WOW! I have loved reading this story since chapter 1 and always waited with great anticipation for each one, but this chapter was amazing!!I thought the fight was brilliant, Dean as wonderful as ever, and Sam. I love David as well, he is a great ally for the boys, and it looks like Dean's gonna need him. I now dont know what to do with myself, i am so wound up. Please dont leave me in suspense too long. Going for a cuppa now, might need a tipple in it though - ha.

Hey Mal... I know I've been horribly bad for not reviewing this story- but rest assured - I haven't missed a single delicious word... so as I sit here- amid a Rockford/Midwestern blizzard... I'm taking the time to catch up with much needed ( and in this case- much deserved) reveiws... so... WOW!!! simply WOW!!! I've been holding my breath through all these chapters- but I'm not sure that any of them had my heart literally pounding as Dean raced to David. I was actually worried for about a paragraph- that you were going to kill off David for a minute ( I think I've come to love him almost like a fanfiction Bobby - kudos there)... And then the fight scene--- while I can ALWAYS count on you for some AWESOME Hurt!Dean... I was just loving Rescue!Sam too! Anyway... I'll quit boring you with my goey drivel and just say- well done and thanks! What an awesome weave of Lenore/Vamp carry over with David thrown in... Loved this one and cant wait for the H/C wrap up.. OMG! amazing showdown! I love that they all defeated Johan together! I knew he was going to use David to get to Dean - I'm sot glad he wasn't hurt more badly - you had me worried that you'd kill him off... I am worried that Dean will cut himself out of David's life now to protect David - that would so be the Dean thing to do... I was so, so happy to see this update! Gulp, I do believe Dean is right, that wasn't a priest but Johan. I hope Father Eliot is ok. Johan must have been stalking Dean to be able to be there at the church. When the priest said he'd always be here, I thought, uh oh! I hope Sam, David, and Dean can regroup at David's house before anything terrible happens. Biting my nails until you post again!
