Ohhhh. I'm practically speechless. I love it! It's sad and hopeful. It honors the hunters with rope-jumping chants (the true key to greatness right along with bubble gum cards).
To think that one day this little girl will fight to restore the earth to its rightful glory is wonderful. She's obviously a legend in the making. And to be taught by Castiel is the highest honor. You can bet her Hunter education will be well-rounded. He may even teach her to drink, gamble and swear. ;-)
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you mentioned all that I thought made this piece worth telling: the girl's sad yet hopeful future and her innocence, Castiel having learned from his time with the brothers that it is worth finding others to fight with you. Castiel could be such an interesting, and yet strange and unorthodox teacher.
Also, I think somebody should totally make hunter bubble gum cards ... that'd be epic!
