Really liked how you had Sam slide from acting to sincerety as he said "Bobby you really shouldn't be here."

so glad to see your locale....awesome ...grew up in Wisconsin lived several places from Kenosha to Green Bay to Minocqua and Manitowoc ...lots of trips to Up with family in Iron Mountain area MANY years back......hope the boys enjoy the solitude....please tell me by Dean's brain trauma, you don't mean you're plunging him DEEPER into this mess........let's try to send him a life preserver on this one to help Sam out.....puhleeeze !!!(begging here) (groveling even !!!!)

Dean is not well and Sam he's beginning to be tired, physically and emotionally. And now there're a problem with that cabin, it must get a two stories, they never get a break.

Ok - so totally cool that they are in the UP - I totally know that stretch of highway between the Mackinaw and the Soo 'cuz I lived in the Soo for 11 years!!!! Really enjoying the detail of this story - though it is tough to even read about Dean in this condition....

Author's Response: That's awesome that you know the UP.  I was wondering how many review I would get asking me what the hell the UP was...never dreamed I'd find someone who had lived there.  About half my family is from Menominee/Iron Mountain area, which is about as far northwest as you can go in Michigan.  Grandparents died several years ago, though, so it's been a while since I've been that way.  I'm doing this all from memories from before I even started driving.  Hope it was accurate enough.  Thanks!

Author's Response: I'm so bad about responding to my reviewers - I keep letting them pile up until I just don't have the time - though I appreciate every last one of them.  But I always tend to pause longer when someone tells me they've been through certain situations that I write about, and that they feel I'm getting it right.  I've never experienced the traumatic injuries I've written about in my stories - only researched them - so you have no idea how encouraged I am to know I'm getting it right.  Thanks for sharing!  Glad you're enjoying the story.

When Sam sat against the wall just inside the motel room and waited for Dean to to be ready to come inside...I love that part!
