I didn't expect that!!!  WOO!

Author's Response: It was a helluva question.

At least Dean is willing to let Bobby help!  Whew!

Author's Response: I don't know if Bobby's going to give him a choice. Thanks for your continued support.

My husband spent some time in Rock Springs.  He says there's NOTHING to do there, and he didn't eat beef or chicken any time after hunting season :)  I don't like it that Dean is in so much trouble!  This is bad!

Author's Response: I spent a year there one weekend.  The only place worse in the US I've ever spent time was Limestone, Maine in the winter. It was as cold as the grave. I come from a family of hunters (not like Sam and Dean) and didn't eat beef for at least twenty years.

I'm not sure I can even put into words how this story makes me feel. I keep trying to wrap my brain around it- trying to decide if I can actually see this happening or not- thinking I can and then thinking I wouldnt... but every time coming back around to knowing it might.

Watching Dean self-destruct is truly like watching that horrific car wreck- you know its gonna be ugly- just like you know he's gonna say ugly hurtful things that will drive him away from the people that can help him most- and just like the wreck- you know its going to be brutal and bloody.. but you have to look anyway.

Thats this story... I just HAVE to see where it goes- how it unfolds and hope for the best...

Awesomely capitvating!

Author's Response:

Thanks, Tree.  I can only see this happening in my head and not on the show.  If it was my sandbox I would not have pandered to the squeaky wheels (fans) and taken the show into darkness a long time ago.  And your analogy to a car wreck...prophetic to say the least.

love how it leaves you wondering if he really meant what he said or hurt her intenionally because it was the best.

More soon please.

Author's Response: Thanks so much.  I think it's for the best but that deep down he really meant what he said.  Besides, we know there's no such thing as an ex Marine...or an ex hunter.

I really want Dean to have that happy ending.  I don't want it to be easy, but I want him to just be happy with a normal life.  This makes me sad, because he clearly didn't succeed.  I wonder how it will be with season 6.  Maybe a balance between the two of us?

Author's Response: Hi and thank you so much for your review.  I'd like to see him happy, too but I feel the only way to truly accomplish that is to take Sam out of the equation..permanently.  But as we all know sometimes even the dead don't stay that way.

Yikes! a Dean - spiralled out of control- lost without his brother- without a purpose- nothing to protect- nothing to hunt... suburbia having taken its toll... sedation in the form of alcohol and lost hope dulling him...

I seriously hope we dont see THIS Dean... but I think we could given the chance.

Well done.... is there going to be more?

Author's Response: Thanks so much, Tree.  Stay tuned to see Dean hit rock bottom.
