Very exciting! I can't believe Max and JT are dead. But I guess they aren't really dead since the past is being changed even as they are living the present. Poor Sam. What guilt he must feel over the death of the future Triad and more so bvecasue they're his family.
I very much enjoyed the opening conversation once James and crew arrive in cooperstown. Cute that Dean thinks James is Sam's kid. James definitely has his dad's wit and mouth.

That would be so wonderful and difficult to spend time with your grandfather after he's passed away. (Does that make sense?) You know what I mean. James gets another chance with his grandfather to make more memories to think back on after he's gone. And he'll be working with Mac on a different level than he would as himself.
I love how the dynamic between the current Triad shifts once James arrives and the different perspective James is treated to without having the personal relationship he normally has with them.
His reaction to Joshua was funny.

Awkward! So glad JT stopped Josie's ambush. A whole lot of serious embarrassment could have happened. And she might have thought at first that James was playing some sort of strange sex game.
This is not going to end well. James and Max already have their issues. Once Max finds out James is sleeping with his sister... I hope we get to read about that in a future story.

Interesting spin on the relationship that Caleb and James have now that there isn't the bond of uncle and nephew between them.
I like the reassuring teasers that James gives about the older men's futures. Just the fact that he's there is proof that they live beyond the fight with Lucifer and Michael.
I'm very curious to find out who discovers James is Dean's son.

Well, I just re-read the entire story at the Tomb, including the missing scene you haven't posted here, and it really is a great story. The resolution of the apocalypse works for me, as I realized it's so not what I consider the most important in your universe. Maybe I would have liked to know a bit more about Ben Mosley's death.
But like I said, terrific tale, the future looks like Dean, Caleb Sam and Josh did great with their kids. And it was perfect that it was finally present Caleb who learned the truth about who James really is. Yes perfect.
Can't wait for another story, so keep up the good work, and thanks so much.

I was ecstatic with the way this ended. Caleb knowing a bit of the truth, Sam realizing how important family is and that DAMN book being destroyed before the future generation payed the ultimate price. This is the first story I've read with the brotherhood. It is so amazing I am now actively searching for any others. Thanks for this!

I...I don't even know what to say. I have loved this Brotherhood universe you created for a long time now. This was one of the hardest chapters to read of it all and Sam's last thoughts some of the most beautiful.

This is the first time in a very long time I have read a story that made me cry. You have us completely invested in all of your characters - very much including the next generation. I know you have plans to wind down and I fully respect that. But should the urge strike - stories that include JT, James, and Max would be much appreciated. Reading good SPN fanfic has been my escape and stress relief for the last 4 years. I am going to miss the Brotherhood. Thank you both for the wonderful ride - I can't wait for the final installments on this story.
