Hi Mary, I feel kind of cheeky for reviewing this late in the day, but I just wanted to drop you a line of encouragement to say that I'm really enjoying this story. I won't compare it to events in Season 6 because I don't know if you're watching it, but I am enjoying your story as much as Sara Gamble's! I've never reviewed one of your stories before (which is why I feel a bit cheeky prodding you for more now!) but I've read everything you have on here. I'm dying to know how Walls Come Tumbling Down is going to end, but If You Need... is what I really want to see more of. I am well aware that the demands of life sometimes get in the way of us doing the things we'd really like to be doing, so please take this as a supportive nudge, with no pressure intended! On a different note, I presume that having been an UnGen writer for so long without a beta, this is your choice, but if you want a fellow Brit (sorry not a Scot) on your team, I'd be happy to lend a hand. So to reiterate my overall point, more PLEEEAAASE - when real life allows :) Justine

What an awesome chapter. It was great to have Sam socializing with Lisa and Ben, learning more about Dean, the family man, Dean, the worker. Sam is seeing Dean with new eyes. Nicely done Mary.

Hmmm...your title now has a double meaning - could it be said by Dean to Sam if he decides to stay with Lisa, or to Lisa if he goes back on the road with his brother? Hmm, can fully understand the hate Dean feels for Meg - and Rufus was right, he was done for, so he was the logical choice. Still, it did give Sam a few bad moments. I wonder if he's still worried about what Dean will do about his ramped up powers. And you're in Scotland? Some of my ancestors came from Aberdeenshire. Ooh, that bitch has to go down, and as bloody as possible. Preferably before she gets that door inside Dean's head open. Thank heavens Rufus put that bug in the Impala - well, sort of... Dean's going to have a fit when he finds out - when he recovers from Meg's damage, that is. Man, that creative torture session had me wincing - stabbing, salt and his own fingers - yeeouch! But now Sam's arrived - let's hope he gets to Meg before she uses Dean's hand to put a bullet in him. Jules

Meg deserved every minute of Dean torturing, she's finally history. Sam, you're not the only one wondering what was in that blue bottle, I'm am too. Rufus was not a great guy but he redeemed himself at the end. I'm looking forward to more.

Excited to see another chapter so soon..but sorry Rufus had to die. I am glad it was him and not Bobby, though..and like Sam I'm curious about this blue bottle that Cas gave Dean. Could it be holy oil maybe? Can't wait to see..and Sam's driving the Impala. I think he missed her, too. He's been homesick. Look forward to the next.

These cliffhangers are killer..Loved this chapter. The battle between Meg and Dean..great stuff. I'm hoping Dean overpowers her and keeps her from shooting Sam. Look forward to your next chapter.

cruel, cruel woman, leaving it there! Excellent chapter! Meg and Dean battling it out in one body was very creative....and a little funny (in a good way) picturing it. My favorite parts were: Rufus smiling when he realized Dean took the impala and Dean grabbing/chugging the holy water. I can't help but think about BUABS when Meg forced Sam to shoot Dean. Please update soon!

I like those two bits too, the Impala scene has been waiting a while to tie into Rufus having lo-jacked Dean's car. I had forgotten about that! And that is one of my fav episodes too! I had a feeling Dean was going to do that. That will make it the first time Dean has been possessed if he does. I guess he's kinda like a virgin in that area. It's too bad Sam can't kill Meg without hurting Lisa. I really like Lisa and don't want her dying. I don't think Dean would ever recover from that. At least Rufus was able to get Ben out of danger. I guess I can forgive him since he was able to do that. Looking forward to reading the next chapter.

Yikes, somehow I did not see that happening with Lisa. Dean will not want to hurt Meg while she's possessing her. That last bit had to really hurt. I wonder how long Dean will last with Meg torturing him while wearing Lisa's face? I hope Sam and Bobby can help him soon.

I love Sam's show of emotions right at the end! It's not often we see him reacting to anger anymore on the show. It's become tabu for him. Dean is allowed to hit stuff and cuss and be frustrated, but Sam can ONLY be a little angry when he's hunting something that really upsets the balance of the cosmos. This was nice. :) Repeating the word "no" over and over, hoping that there's even the slightest chance it will somehow turn magical and fix all problems in life. And the slamming of doors and mocking silences..... Ahhh.... Lovely :) I feel all mellow now. But alas: My frustration will have ample chance to build as I stare at the dreaded bottom... of the page. No mo' chap-chap? No ticky, no laundry.

So Meg wanted in Dean all along..and he played right into her hands. Pool Dean..and now both are gone and Sam has no idea where to look. I really hope you kill Meg in this story..because she really is getting on my nerves.. just, please get her out of Dean first. Sam seeing Dean's black eyes reminding him of his time downstairs..broke my heart. I'm glad Sam and Lisa are getting along better though, and she sure put Meg in her place. GO LISA!!!
I'm worried about Dean now..and how dare Meg, well Meg in Dean, get anywhere near the Impala.

Wuhuu! I KNEW it! Just knew it when Sam didn't want to do "it" that Meg hitching a ride in Dean would be a last resort. Good, good, good - Good vibrations... And I'm glad to see Rufus helping, especially as it was probably his tracking of Dean that led Meg to Cicero in the first place. Now I'm just wondering whether it's a plan to just get the rings back and open the cage, or is she after Sam as well, in revenge for his part in locking Lucifer up again? Hope that car Bobby gave Sam has got plenty of herbs - don't think Dean can wait six to seven hours.... Jules

Oh, Rufus - you just led whom I suspect is Meg right to Dean....and his innocent family. And with no protection at all in Lisa's house, they're sitting ducks, especially to a revenge-driven, spiteful demon like Meg. So Sam's still got the super-ramped abilities - damn, I'd hoped he'd have come back clean. He never wanted his psychic abilities - and is that what he's hiding from Dean, or is there more? What is Sam so worried about that he's willing to stay away from his beloved brother, and was prepared to leave Dean in the dark as to his return? The plot thickens.... Jules
