I loved this one.

Is Joshua going to be appearing in any more stories?

"And Sammy chucked it out.  He chucked out home, and us.  and I didn't like it."  Awww.  Now that we know why Dean got so upset it's sweet and sad.   Joshua being at the garden and speaking to John was unexpected.  It was a great surprise and made me wonder how long he'd been watching over the boys.  It was neat to see Sam and Dean at each others throats one minute then best friends the next.  That's family. John realizing the importance of his boys and admitting it to them was a touching moment.  "You boys may be all I got, but I'm telling you now - it's more than I deserve."  "A coupla fight-night competitors one minute, a bodyguard and a dreamer the next, he judged, letting his gaze wander over the two of them and allowing them to realise the luck he had after all. Seeing his boys in that light shows John really wants to be a good father and does love his family.

Author's Response: Hey, thanks! I'm sure he wasn't a complete b*stard to his kids the whole time, like characters say quite randomly on the show... Anyway, I thought he could do with a little good!John time. :) Thanks for reading! It's always good to know the parts you like/value!

loved it. Loved that the garden was their idea of heaven because that where Dad made everything alright again. Dean geting upset because Sam had thrown out his idea of home - ahh! Sorry I've just finnished watching finale and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet - vaguely disgruntled. Think I'll go back and read some favourites, T.M.I. amongst them.

Author's Response: I'm sure everyone's got different reasons for being annoyed with the finale - but hey, he did it on purpose, LOL. TMI is one of your favourites? Wow - you know I'd forgotten I wrote that! Now I feel so old... ROFL. Thanks for the stars!!

Well, I just loved it! I just loved how Dean and Sam were acting how siblings would at that age, and how they easily forgot the hurts once they were able to talk through it with John. What a wonderful little bit with "Joshua" at the end. I always thought for one who hates "chick flick" moments, Dean sure has a passle of them!! Thanks for the great one shot.

Author's Response: He does get a boatload of them, doesn't he? LOL. Thanks for taking the time to read and review!

ffVery cute story, and not too much of a chick-flick moment at all. It's a sad comparison, though...that Dean and Sam think the Botanical Gardens are 'where Dad made things right', and then in Dark Side of the Moon, God refuses to help. Liked the cameo by Joshua.

Author's Response:

Sad but true... Sometimes dads can't make it all alright. :(
