I really enjoyed reading this story, it reminds me of your earlier stories of the Winchester brothers.
You can do an awesome job of writing the brothers and their conversations. Love how the brothers faced Dean's medical problem together.

this was a cute story! A little angsty Dean, some protective worried Sam, a few chick-flick episodes and some childish arguments. What could be more perfect for the Winchesters. I'm so glad that nothing was severely wrong. Just enough to put life in perspective for them. they spend so much time worrying about being taken out by the supernatural that normal death-causing illnesses and ailments don't usually make the grid.

Dean. At the doctors. Without a fight. oh god. Now that's a reason to panic! Finally they almost talk about it. Talk about it as much as any frightened person would discuss it with their loved one. Shannon, hmmm? She must be a very caring, compassionate woman. :) The bad thing about this problem being on Dean's face is that whenever Sam looks at him, he'll see it and be reminded of what's happening.

A good start. Their joking about the room and their luck was cute. I've always thought if it would be better or worse if one of the Winchesters died of something normal like cancer or heart disease. One day you're torching ghosts and the next day... wham!... a normal debilitating illness. I doubt that Dean's going to die because of this rogue freckle but it opens up lots of possibilities.

*applauds* It's nice to know that Dean's human. He can face down the Supernatural, but get a medical scare like that, and it's just as hard as it is on any of us.

Enjoyed this one Muffy. Loved how you showed how much the boys love each other, and are there for each other. The end was great. You had us guessing, but then everything turned out ok, and Sam's way of distracting Dean was awesome and showed his love for his brother. Great one. Look forward to the next.

Hey Muffy, once again a great story. Read it in one piece. Quite different then your others, but I really enjoyed it. I loved how you toyed with us, making us fear for the worst. Glad we did see a light story after all and a happy ending. Sorry I didn't get to review on your other stories lately - RL... But I love your work!

I had to smile when I read this chapter, even if both the brothers are stressed while being at the doctors office. It is because the brothers are together. Sam is there offering his support for Dean and Dean is glad to have his brother beside him. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

Love how neither brother is really fooling each other... both handling what was always really right in front of their faces...err.. no pun intended - what was right on the front of Dean's face that is... LOL... And then... Dean- that laugh in the face of death attitude in full force... going out for the burger ala onion guaca-baco.... cause nothing says "I'm Fine" like shoving food in your mouth... only to finally BREAK... I read this story on the other site and really enjoyed it. I like how Dean was worried and tried to hide his visit to the doctor from Sam. Love when Sam saw the Impala at the office, he made sure he got to Dean side and heard what the doctor had to say. We all need some brother moments right now. Thanks for sharing your story with us.
