Aww!  I hope Sammy retrieved the amulet.  I like your description of Sam's feelings that give a slightly different POV.  Sam's got more love for his family inside than meets the eye.

He gets it, he really does. Dean is pissed, has lost his way - is empty inside.  Feels betrayed all over again. By Sam.  Fabulous!  I love the power and sadness in those two lines!  And that you reminded us that once again Dean has been blind-sided by his brother.

I hope Sam really did get Dean's amulet out of the trash can. *crosses fingers*
