BUSTED!! Now what Sam? How can he keep ignoring his brother like that?
Author's Response: I don't know :( But it makes me sad! Thanks for the comment :)

Awwww! Poor Dean. I completely understand his fear about calling Sam and being rejected. That took guts! And then he was rejected. How heart-breaking! He probably feels as low as he's ever felt.
Author's Response: Even when Sammy's doing everything wrong, we've seen the depth to which Dean loves him, so imagine having that taken away - and having Sam apparently just not caring anymore :( Thanks!

So is the gift from John? Smiling that false smile that seemed to trick just about anyone who didn't have his blood in their veins. Another clever statement! You have a way of turning a phrase.
Author's Response: Yeah, it was from John :) Wow, thank you!

I love this! I always hoped that Bobby would have intervened on Dean's behalf. "Don't mean you can't be the first car on it." Luuuuvvvv it! I've never heard that before. And it fits Bobby perfectly.
Author's Response: Naw thanks :) Good ol' Bobby, I'm seriously loving that guy at the moment :) Even though he can be a bit dramatic. Come to think of it, I might have just made that line up, because I can't think of where I might have heard it before, either! :) Thank you!

It is sad on so many levels... The hesitation in calling, the unwillingness to call back. Yeah, they miss each other badly, but Winchesters tend to be stubborn as hell. I hope you will continue - this ending is such a cliffhunger. Good job,
Author's Response: Thank you! Winchester stubborn-ness, now I wouldn't like to deal with that! I hope I get the time to continue it! Ugh, school!

Oh, poor Dean, he works up to calling Sam, onlly to find his borther's not available. I like his inventive message, a shame he knows Sam won't call back. Sue
Author's Response: Poor Dean :( It is very sad that Dean won't call back... Thank you for your comment :)
Author's Response: Rather, SAM won't call back. OOPS!

Interesting view of John, here, but I don't think he'd kick the Impala, or even think about it. I'm curious if Sam knew right off the bat who gave him the St. Christopher's cross, or does he figure it out later? I like the continuity with the cell phone, Jess giving him a new one to replace the old clunker mentioned in the first chapter. Sue
Author's Response: I think it would be hard to even dream of hurting that beautiful car, to be honest. I just wanted to express John as having a very short fuse, the kind of "would punch a door if the lock wouldn't open" kind of attitude. I think Sam would have thought about it for a moment, and added it up as he was holding it, but still never knew for sure. I think some kind of family instinct thing would kick in and tell him was John, and he wouldn't mention it to Jess. Thanks :)

Oh, interesting start. Bobby's going easy on Sam, here, no 'idjit' in his vocabulary. And I love Bobby's hesitation before agreeing with Sam about John. Sue
Author's Response: Thankyou! :) I think Bobby feels a little sorry for Sam, even though he is frustrated as Hell with him. And we all know he wasn't a huge fan of John tehe. Thanks !
