Great! You took what I thought was a mildly disheartening episode and ended it with hope, with a renewed sense of Winchester gumption.

Beautiful. I love the idea that yeah, given the choice, they'd keep fighting right up to the bitter end. Even if it meant turning their backs on heaven after tasting of that one perfect moment. *applauds*
Author's Response: Thanks! And you know, I thought at first I was too idealistic, but in actually in the episode, they never considered staying. They knew they had to go back from the start. And how weird that they don't even react to being killed anymore? Just another day in the life! But I agree, the Winchesters only know how to fight, and they will always want to do good for humanity. I loved your AU of what could have happened in Dark Side of the Moon. I loved your word choice throughout. You did a great job painting a very vivid picture with your words.

That moment of perfect peace, of release, would be so tempting, and it would be the perfect solution to the conflict around, then neither side could use them any more. But of course this is Sam and Dean, I mean since when have they ever taken the easy way forward! It goes very well with 'Dark Side of the Moon'. Nice one Jacq x

Any other men would take the easy way out, the peaceful outcome instead of barreling back into the fray. But that is why we love our Winchesters.
