As I was reading I kept thinking 'please let it be true!', 'cause I would like so much for Dean to have a chance of a happy life with the ones he love (yes I'm totally convinced that he loves Lisa). And yes it makes perfect sense that he would sacrifice his life for his son. Somewhat I really don't think they *points to Kripke and the writers* will gives this. Mary, I was thinking the same thing, if Ben is Dean's son (I've always thought that he was), then he is another possible vessel. Dean would sacrifice himself to save Ben that ordeal and Lisa, too. Thanks for the great insight into why Dean would even think to say "yes" to Michael. I doubt the show will ever go back to that.

I don't know if I really believe that Ben is Dean's, but it would be nice. I was personally hoping that one day Dean would show up on a girl's doorstep. The one that in his secret heart of hearts he's always loved. I just didn't want it to happen NOW. Sigh. Lovely tag!
Author's Response: Hey Julie I'm not sure either but I wondered if maybe they were giving Dean a 'happy ending' out. Dean can show up on my doorstep anytime, I'll give him a happy ending! Well it would be for me. :) Mary xx

I'm with you Mary.... he had to know... it couldnt be a simple case of him just wanting to protect Lisa and Ben out of some misguided need or desire... hell if that were the case- he might have gone back to see Cassie ( perish the thought- I know)... I think he would have checked the birth record and I think she would have "spared" him the truth... knowing his life- know it would have "hurt" him more than helped him... Loved this tag! Tree
