"How pathetic is it that Dean can't think of a single occasion in his life that he's accomplished something for himself?" Aw, Dean. It's not pathetic at all.
Dean is a giver and that's why we love him so much. He gives of himself unselfishly to everyone he comes in contact with, most importantly Sam.
Nice little one-shot!

I love this story!
It explores Dean's fears and his perceived inadequacies as well as tying in God that has been so elusive on supernatural.
I love that Sam was able to express his feelings to Dean because he hasn't done that a lot this season, really ever since Dean died.
I also am in love with the fact that you used something as simple as fireworks to bring Dean back to himself and give him comfort.
All in all a great read! Thanks!
