I'm with Cas. God will answer.
Not sure what his plan was with the last episode - still reeling from that one. But my Pollyanna soul is still hoping for a happy outcome to it all, and to the Winchesters not having to be used as vessels for heavenly sibling rivalry.
And I hope Zachariah gets squashed like the slimy bug that he is when the dust finally settles on the apocalypse.
Nice tie-in at the end there with the Christmas story and the little child that Cas saw. And I completely agree - it was the angels' manipulation, not God's wish, that this destiny should play out.
I'm hoping for divine intervention before the end.

Ooh - nice fic, Jacq. You conjured up that image so clearly in my head. Castiel's ongoing faith, his trust that God is still out there, his everlasting hope... wow.

Thank you for the review and the stars. I just got overdosed on Easter Bunnies and hunting down those elusive Eggs!! I needed to put a few words down to get back to what it should all be about. And the Angels seem to have lost their hope!

Liked your charachterization of Castiel...hopefully he returns to that certainty by the end of the season.

Thank you for the stars and review, much appreciated. I have yet to watch epi 16, and I am guessing things go awry with Castiel's quest! We can only hope things improve for him somehow.

Nicely done. I love seeing Castiel's faith. And it is true, what Zachariah said, we didn't deserve that sacrifice but God made it anyway....sacrificed his only son so that we could have the same hope Castiel has...to find God.
