Very nice tag. Trust me, you weren't the only one crying at that scene. That was one of the most heartbreaking scenes I've ever seen on the show. I just rewatched the episode a few minutes ago (lost count how many times now) and it still makes me cry.

I'm right there with you Mary! That scene made cry in a way I never cryed before while watching this show! I know John is a loved character but the more I know about him the less I liked him, Dean and Sam might say they understand and they Loved their father but they really deserved better! Anyway, thanks for this one Mary, I'm crying again but that's normal. Dany
Author's Response: It really got to me, he was soo happy and it was 'cos Sam was happy. I still love John. He had a tough job and no idea how to do it so he fell back on his army training and it kept them all alive for a good long time, but it wasn't a way to raise two young boys. Thanks Dany, Mary xx

I'm right there with you Mary... havent had an eppy get to me like this one since WIAWSNB... and wile I know there are a lot of unhappy SamGirls and equally emotional DeanGirls out there right now... all I can think about is how I hope that Apocalypse or not... somehow... these brothers will somehow redeem themselves with each other. Author's Response: I felt sorry for both boys, I understood why Sam was happy but he didn't seemed to think about his brother at all. Dean's faith in family has been torn from him like Cas' faith in God, they both now need to find it again somehow. Hope they can. Thanks, Mary x

Sniffle, sniffle...I'm still crying over that episode! John turns out, was a real jerk of a father. Sam seemed to be oblivious to how Dean was treated and how much he sacrificed for Sam. I hope he can redeem himself to Dean, as well. I'm kinda hoping that a good part of the reason why he threw away the amulet was Cas's realization that God doesn't seem to care and that it turns out that the amulet was worthless. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Sam picks up the amulet, too! I loved your little fic, too!!

Very nice tag. Very, very sad. Every tag I've read so far has Sam picking up the amulet from the trash. I sincerely hope they have it happen in the show. The writers have really, really left the fans reeling.
