Great fight sequence - it's the part of most action that often can be disappointing but not from you. I can see the fight just as surely as if I were standing in that greenhouse.

It's a real skill to get the reader to see everything you want them to, and yet still allow them to have enough imagination to fill in the blanks for themselves - and you have that balance perfectly. This chapter had me on the edge of my seat all the way.

Read this before I was member, back in the old days - lol, so didn't review but decided to put that right mainly because I love this story. From the very first paragraph you had me hooked, the description of the knife and whetstone - just hyptnotic.

I know its been some time since you wrote this but I just discovered it. This is an absolutely fabulous story - kind of ironic since I read it just a few days before the next Gordon episode (season 3). I don't think things are going to go so well for Gordon this time round. I am off to read another of your stories.
Author's Response: Lostatc Glad you enjoyed it- I've toyed with ( and been begged to write) a sequel to this... but in light of where the real Gordon went on the show and where the spoilers seem to indicate he's about to go, I'm just not sure.
Still, he's soooo fun to hate and has been such a great antagonist for the guys. Who knows- maybe someday- he'll make a reappearance again for me. Thanks again!

Great job! Wonderful, creepy story. yeah, Sam's last line pretty much sums it up...very haunting. Love it!
Author's Response: Thanks Shiny I REALLY wanted to show that there likewise wasnt anything that Sam wouldnt do for Dean either if he was pushed to it... that Gordon sorta miscalculated by thinking that somehow he was the less violent of the two brothers. Awesome story, personally I would have blown the SOB's head off but sam+dean are'nt killers. I love your stories, but this is my favorite so far. Look forward to the next one.

Author's Response: Thanks again - KWater - As much as I despised the character of Gordon - both what I wrote and what we saw in Bloodlust and Hunted- I couldnt see the guys- especially Sam - killing him- no matter how much he deserved it. Besides - I'm toying around with an idea that he just might come back to mess with them somewhere down the road.

That was cool. As Much as I like to actually watch the boys in action I find my self in the pickle that is fan fiction. There is so much more you can do with the characters. This story Marks that with a floorish. I love what you did.

Hey -- okay, I thought about your story when Gordon appeared onscreen last night and instantly thought 'Oh! I don't know how she ended it!'.... I kinda wish Sam really had killed him -- but I get why you didn't do it. Because that would cross a line that I don't think Sam can cross yet. Dean has. Would again in a heartbeat for his brother. To save him. But I think that it's a bigger question for Sam...it's a question of his salvation, regardless of his reasons. You had some clever lines in here. I especially liked the Jack Daniels chaser after the shower comment. Congrats on your 2nd completed story. I'll certainly come back for more!

Oh, I loved this soooo much. And the fact that your Gordon was so different than the one we saw on "Hunted" was absolutely wonderful and gave us the other way to look at him. You really do have wonderful talent and a great eye for detail. This entire story made me feel as if I was watching from the sidelines. I really hope that you do another story! Again, great job!

Heheh, I can't believe you changed you ending just cuz Kripke already did it. Dude, there's peeps out there who do nothing but write epi tags and expound on what Kripke's already done.
