Another great story.  I loved Amelia and so wanted the boys to stay with her so she could mother them.  

I also loved how you had her gray eyes looking over Dean, you described him perfectly.  I could picture him in my head and wanted him to be standing in front of me.

From 1 Dean fan to another you always deliever an excellent Dean fantasy!  Thank-you for that.

Can't wait till the next story I know I'm going to love that one too.

Thank you so much for the review. I love that you love the way I described Dean through Amelia's eyes. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees Dean in front of me. Hey even my  mother had a dream he was lying in bed, naked and she said to him,  "Mmmm I'd love to eat you." My mom is 82. LOL Seems he has that effect on all women not matter the age.

I love Dean's seemingly uncaring attitude towards 'minor' details.  I also liked his protectiveness of Amelia and all the names he was calling DeClerque (whom I seriously hate now).

So sorry I'm so late with this, work is crazy these days.

GREAT chapter, can't tell how happy I am Sam found Dean and to hear him say "Sammy" at the end felt magic! I'm worried though, Dean who is far from healed is badly injured after this cruel beating and Sam who's so terribly scared for his brother ("...that knot of anxiety in his stomach growing and rising with each passing hour until it became a soccer ball of fear lodged in his throat threatening to cut off his air supply and strangle him to death...") has to fear to lose him again.

Loved how Dean tried to help Amelia with her problems and at the same time fought his way back to Sam, "the shaggy haired man" in his dreams, who he felt was important to him - this tells a lot about their bond; "The man was the key", yes indeed in every way! "A mental picture of the tall broad-shouldered shaggy-haired man filled his head. 'Do you think perhaps this man is the man in my dreams?...He could be.' Damon's expression changed; the corners of his mouth tipped up into a smile." Perfect!

Now I'm very anxious to know what happens next!!!

You don't know how long I've looked for a good Dean-with-Amnesia story and they're just not out there. I've found one with Sam and several with them separated from childhood but not adult trauma-induced amnesia. Thank you for filling that void! LOL More please!

So glad to have you back with a new chapter! Amelia's story is a very sad and tragic one, I feel so sorry for her and think Dean so far is in good hands, but there's always my worry she might confuse him with her dead nephew and won't want to let Dean go anymore. So I fear for both, Dean and Sam (who will hopefully find his brother soon); at least Dean remembers Sam in his dreams, even though he's only a "shaggy hairy figure whose features were always fuzzy and unclear and was always out of reach". Can't wait til Sam finds his brother for both their sakes! Great chapter!

And girl - LOVE my calendars and like last year I can't decide which one I will give away, I want to keep them all! Thank you!!

Yes poor Amelia she has had a sad and some what lonely life. But Dean/Damon has bought some meaning back into her life. Ain't he a sweetheart?

I can't believe I actually wrote "shaggy hairy figure" It should have read, 'shaggy haired figure'. Oh dear!!

Great day! Dean can't remember anything? Amelia seems like a sweet sort, and hopefully, not unbalanced. Seems like Dean is in good hands for now, and Sam is on the hunt! The one thing that is bothering me is that other guy who was dead in the creek, resembles Dean. Wonder if that is a coincidence or something else? I found it funny that Dean knew what a bodice ripper was. Tee, hee. Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Don't worry, the chap flows just perfectly. I actually was afraid Dean lost his memory and I still worry about Amelia more and more seeing him as Damon knight, it will be hard for her to let Dean go and this whole situation could get easily out of hand as Dean now is even more vulnerable; still, she really cares about him, I guess we're in for a tragic story here! When Dean tried over and over to get a hold of some memories ("Yeah I'm good.' He answered. The phrase seemed familiar as if he said it a lot.") and they just slipped away you could feel how hard this was and how much he wanted to remember. 

And I so enjoyed the book scene, Dean reading this blurb ("Eleanor is fascinated by the tall, mysterious Damon the man she now thinks of as her knight in shining armor. Damon whose long lashed sparkling green eyes hold much sadness and many secrets.") was hilarious, no wonder his reaction was "Umm I don't know what to say", poor Dean.

Hope Sam will find his brother soon, not only for Dean's sake, I'm afraid for Sam too, he now must fear again to have lost his brother forever, his desperate shout for Dean at the creek hearbreaking.

Sure love this ride and can't wait for more, thank you!!!

Aww - and wonderful news about the calendars, you really made my day!

Love this chapter for many reasons but the most important is I'm so proud of Sam here, that he had the strength and will to go and bring Dean home (in his beloved Impala), it shows so beautifully he won't ever let go of his brother neither in life nor death and I think you couldn't honour someone's legacy and express your love in a better way! But thank god he didn't have to go and has hope now to find his brother - alive!!

Bobby and Cas once more proved to be amazing friends, Bobby as the boys' surrogate father nearly as desperate as Sam (loved this line, "As Sam came in closely followed by Cas he looked up and his eyes were full of sadness") and Cas so caring; both despite their own sorrow determined to protect and save their youngest.

Sam now will literally move heaven and earth to find Dean and I have the feeling he should hurry. As nice as Amelia seems, when she was comparing Dean with this book character ("Damon Knight", it sounds like an unreachable hero) I got a very bad feeling. Loneliness and grief can make a person built a secure fantasy and now as Amelia recognized her hero in Dean she might not want to let him go. Scary thought, can't wait to see what happens. Excellent chapter!

Now that Sam and Bobby learn the good news about Dean they can start to search for him. Knowing Dean he had to be very weak to resign peeing in a chamber pot, lol. Amelia is a sweet but confused lady. I'm looking forward to read more. Awesome work so far Silvertayl.
