That was great but I thought that John should have let Devin wake up and know that his plan had failed then shot him.  Really enjoyed this story. Thanks.

Author's Response: There was no doubt that one day my character Devin was going to die. I decided to have John sympathetic and making things quick and painless for him. ~Charity
