I know I've already reviewed this, but I've just read this fic again and I can't get over how awesome it is - thank you for writing it! It's such pure genius to put them in that position and have Dean say 'yes' instead of Sam. I really love how Dean must have had a quiet little prayer to Cas to tell him about their predicament and where they were etc. And then he will have had to pray to Michael too. And the ending, THE ENDING!!! Such a badass way to end things! You just know Lucifer was gonna bite the dust after that! Once again, thank you for writing such a brilliant fic - I'm sure I'll stumble across it again in a few months and leave another review about how much I loved it. Keep writing xx

I don't usually read deathfics at all but this one intrigued me for some reason.  And even though I don't want either boy to die or say yes, I do like the way this fic ended and am anxious to see how you follow up on it.  I imagine Lucifer is shaking in his shoes at the moment. :)

You brought Sam and Dean's pain brilliantly to the page.  Your description of the look of trust in Dean's eyes, knowing what Sam needed to do, brought tears to my eyes. I really enjoyed it, as heart-wrenching as it was.

But Sam knew that Dean would never give in to his own wishes for peace. Dean's selfless nature meant he wasn't going to surrender. Ever. Not with the weight of the world literally resting on his shoulders. Not with the world unknowingly counting on him to kick Lucifer's ass and save them from the Apocalypse. Dean once said that he believed the world would end bloody but he was going to go down swinging. And he had. He did. And he was willing to do it again if that was what it took, even after all he had been through. Sam knew it and it made him proud just as much as it broke his heart.

Loved this, so spot on and Sammy, it breaks my heart too.

What a great summary on this, I'd have read it even if I hadn't seen your name next to it and what a story!

I absolutely loved each and every moment of it and I thought that Sam was going to shoot himself but he shot Dean!! OMG. And then Castiel arriving and pulling Sam away! *fails fangirlish*

As for the ending, well what can I say but absolutely bloody brilliant. Loved this as a one shot but I'd equally love to see more. A++++
