SAAAAAMMMYYY! Nooooooooooooooo!! I do like this new angle on Death. Sort of a more... pro-active approach to his vocation; darker, for sure. Terrible cliffhanger, though. I know I've said that for almost every chapter, but every chapter has one and they somehow get worse and worse - I really can't fathom how you do it. I do not anticipate catching up to where you are with this - I just know that cliffie is gonna be super killer.

Oh My Heck!! Drake's dad died the same way that Dean's mom died?! That blew me away! I loved that Dean helped Drake move forward when his body was too weak to continue on his own. John stepping in at the end was great! Now maybe he'll realize how important his boys are and make some changes.

Great chapter! Every chapter of this story has had either deep, troubling angst or pulse-racing action. I'd lost you when I haven't even got the chance to know you yet. Terribly sad. It makes me realize that he didn't know Sam and Dean much more than he knows Drake. a vengefulspirit thorougly bent on killing whatever you have left in this world. Wow! I never thought of John like that but it's a perfect description (with the exception of him being alive).

Yay another chapter! I was beginning to worry. Such a cool chapter! It was very emotional. It helped me to understand how everyone (Sam, Drake, and Dean) could continue with their lives and make this situation work. It also helped me to see that John could be a part of their remationship, part of their family. I'm glad Sam refused to be the go-between John and Drake. That caused Dean so much heartache and would certainly do the same to Sam. But now he was beginning to understand what he should have known all along. No one had forcefully taken Dean's soul from him- he'd willingly given it to Drake and in Sam's eyes he had done it for the best reason of all... so they could find a way back to being brothers again without all the hurt and anger that had passed between them. You know, I hadn't really thought of Dean giving up his sould or the reason for it. This passage really touched me. It makes me realize just how deeply Dean loves his little brother.

Great chapter! Action, mushiness, the good guys win round one, both Sam and Drake say no to drugs. (I couldn't resist that one!) Oh, they so don't get Sam. He's going to save Drake because Drake is his brother now. He said it earlier, that Drake isn't Dean but he's his brother. "No, Winchester luck makes bad luck seem like winning a million dollar lottery." This answer had me laughing but Drake's response had my gut busting. "Well, then it's a good thing my last name's Marlowe, but it certainly sucks to be you."

Wow! Drake gave it to John with both barrels! It's about time Dean stood up against his father and became his own man. We've seen how torn up he is in the show. I'm glad you're rectifying that wrong.

Interesting ending! Loved it!. Drake berating John for what he did to Dean...finally! Somebody needed to tell daddy Winchester at some point! And Sam, I honestly think your Sam is a bit harsher than I would like to believe our Sammy is. But I can see the struggle he would have transitioning from the younger brother/student to being the older brother/teacher. It's a good switch. One I am still stuck on. I am awaiting your pleasure madame (lol!). Please keep updating!

Bobby offering Gary and Bear his best shotgun to shoot Sam was hilarious! It was so Bobby! Ilove the relationship between Drake and all his friends. looks lik Sam's going to get his dream of a normal life whetehr he likes it or not.
