The second chapter is much stronger than the first I think, and this is starting to build into an interesting story. I like the premise... It will be good to see where you go with it. Oh, I could do without the teasers into the nest chapter (unless you made them a lot shorter perhaps?)
Author's Response: Amber, I am glad to hear you like the premise of the story as I was a little worried what people would think of it. In the first chapter I was being purposely evasive because I don't feel it is a good thing to give away everything right off the bat, and maybe that is why the second chapter felt stronger to you. I have the excerpts in place because I was worried what people might be wondering as to the direction of the story, but it is not necessary to read them if you do not choose to.
