Wow, this is heartbreaking, but so well-crafted.  It is haunting how Dean lived out his life in moments and then he is back as himself, but is it too late for Sam?  Did he stay just long enough in the fantasy  to lose what was really important?

Deans alternate life with a girl and kids was nice. A little confusing with Sam, but I guess he was popping into Dean's coma sleep? And he woke up and found out Sam was dead? Little confusing, could have used a bit more direction on that track. But I liked the story.

Wow Refur, you really hit the ground running with this one. Did you write it while the episode was on????? I loved it of course, and as usual you have me laughing and crying at the same time. This is the laughing part.....

The first thing Dean thought when he saw them was wow, I recycle, but now he thinks wow, I drink a lot of beer. 

And this is the crying part.....

 Sam and Jess get married in November, and Dean’s not the best man.

For some reason that really, really hurt.

Good story! This was a fantastic episode, and I'm glad to see that someone wrote a story like this. I really enjoyed reading it!
