I hope the boys get to the Grand canyon.....maybe the end shot in the movie that I hope they can make.....as the sun sets on the boys and the Impala!

Author's Response: That would be so awesome!  The Grand Canyon is one of the things I want to see before I die.

Poor Dean.....never really got to be just a kid.  Nice family moment, Sonya!

Author's Response: Thanks Terri!  I was really hung up on Wee!chester for awhile.  I'm thinking maybe I should revisit.

Great drabble, Dean giving Sam a little hope that he can start to trust him again.

Author's Response: Thanks!  I always thought they would have to start with the little things in order to build that trust back and stitches wouldn't seem like much to Dean but it would be like throwing out a life preserver to a drowning man for Sam.

That was just heartbreaking.

Author's Response: That was a heartbreaking time for us all, wasn't it?  That was one of the hardest episodes for me to watch---when Sam walked away and Dean let him go.

Awww, lovely drabble.

Author's Response: Thanks Lindsay! :)

I always thought that more than not trusting Sam, Dean was disappointed with Sam. But that's just me.

Dany

Author's Response: I thought he was disappointed too but Dean did say he didn't think he could trust Sam anymore and that is what Sam would latch on to and think about, IMO.  And any small act of trust would give Sam hope that he could restore his relationship with his brother.

*sights* The amount of tissues I used in this epi, the look on Dean's face wille Sam walked away...

You manage to make remember all that, now I've got tears in my eyes again! No, I'm not complaining, when you make me cry it means that what you write is good!

Dany

Author's Response: Aw, thanks Dany.  *passes the tissues*  That was a very heartbreaking episode for us all, I think.  I was so glad when the boys reunited.

Got to love Cas!

Dany

Author's Response: Cas is pretty awesome!  Thanks for always reading and reviewing my drabbles!

That was a tough time for the boys.  And once you lose someone's trust...it takes A LOT to get it back!  (if you even can)

Author's Response: I think they are finally gaining it back though.  Thanks for the reviews Terri!

Love the brotherly banter:)

Author's Response: I loved doing all dialogue. :)

Awww, so sweet!

Dany

Author's Response: Thanks!  And thanks for all the reviews!  I appreciate it.

Dean is the worse patient (but I'll be his nurse anytime :-) ), but it's all an act I'm sure he doesn't mind having Sam hovering over him, he just doesn't do chick flick moments!

Dany

Author's Response: I think we'd all line up to be Dean's nurse. :)  And yeah, I think it's all an act too.  He has to keep up appearances.

Tough times! Glad Dean, eventually, accepted Sam's help.

Dany

Author's Response:

I agree! Those were some tough times.

Awww, very cute.

Author's Response: Thanks Lindsay! :)

Poor Sam, i don't envy him trying to take care of Dean, but on second thoughts lol.

Author's Response:

Yeah, I'll take my turn. :) :)

This was a hard time for the boys.

Author's Response: Yes, it was.  Sam wanting to help his brother and Dean refusing to let him.....

Reviewer: saltnburnem (Signed) · Date: 20/02/10 12:13 AM · On: First Steps

Again....it's tough to imagine those times.  I could definitely see Sammy reaching for Dean, rather than John.

Author's Response: Me too and I imagine that had to hurt John just a little.

You did a good job with the prompt.  Very believable dialogue.

Author's Response: Thanks!  Dialogue is my favorite thing to write. :)

That was a tough time for the boys....before Dean admitted to all that happened in hell.  Nice scene you described there.

Author's Response: Thanks Terri!  I think it's just been a tough time all around ever since he got back.

Reviewer: saltnburnem (Signed) · Date: 20/02/10 12:10 AM · On: Without You

I frequently get caught up in Dean's hellish plight, but I'm glad for drabbles like this that remind me that Sammy had a lot of things to weather all alone while Dean was gone.  He was without his anchor, his brother.

Author's Response: I would love to have seen more of this time for Sam on the show.  Dean may have been in literal hell but Sam was in his own personal one.

Gotta love Cas.  One can just picture him staring at the screen, his head slightly tilted, as he watches with curiosity.

Author's Response: I think he would be slightly amused too. :)

Oh!  Nice Sam turmoil.....and honesty.  He knows he's got issues!

Author's Response: Thanks! I think poor Sam is always going to have issues with the demon blood.

Reviewer: saltnburnem (Signed) · Date: 20/02/10 12:03 AM · On: Not Today

Dean....always trying to push past his limits to get the job done!  I like caring!Sam:)

Author's Response: I like caring!Sam too and it's good to see that concern for his brother back on the show!

Reviewer: saltnburnem (Signed) · Date: 20/02/10 12:01 AM · On: Almost Like Normal

It's hard to imagine these kind of moments knowing how their childhood (or lack thereof) blended right into their hunting days.  Nice glimpse.

Author's Response: I know what you mean.  I think Sammy probably got to have more of a childhood after the death of their mother than Dean did.  Dean's childhood most definitely ended that fateful night but I believe John and Dean tried to protect Sam from the truth as long as they could.

Reviewer: GreyCat (Signed) · Date: 19/02/10 11:37 AM · On: Without You

Sick and without Dean around, poor, poor Sam!

Dany

Author's Response: That had to be a very dark time in Sam's life.  Thanks taking time to read and for all of the comments!
