Ahh, the good old days!  Life was so much simpler then in season 1.

What's BFE?  I think I know what B & F stand for.  What's the E?

Author's Response: Those really were the good old days.  Even though they went through some bad things, life really was so much simpler.  BFE stands for Bum F*** Egypt, which is what we've always said around here for out in the middle of nowhere. :)  Thank you so much for all of the reviews.  I appreciate it so much!

Yay!  Major pain and brotherly love at it's finest!

Author's Response: Those two things seem to be popular with the fandom.  We love to see our boys suffer and then comfort each other. :)

If no one else mentions it, i appreciate the research.  Authenticity is important.  And Rock Band is fabulous!  I'd love to hear Sam sing off-key again.  That was fun!  Can you see Sam and Dean doing karaoke after a few shots?

Author's Response: Thank you!  Research is really time consuming but important to me because I like to write as close to canon as possible and I don't like to write something and just assume it will fit into a season without checking into it.  Not saying I haven't done it, but I prefer not to.  Sam and Dean doing karaoke after a few shots would be hilarious!

Oh wow!  I really liked this one  I'll have to check out the full story.

Author's Response: Thanks!  I love angsty boys. :)  The other story isn't too long but it's a Weechester fic.

Awww, very sweet!  And even though Dean denies it, we know he loves Sammy.

Author's Response: Dean has to keep up the tough guy act.  He doesn't realize we can all see right through him, even Sam. :)

Cute!  You captured the boys' personalities wonderfully!  I can picture this scene in my head.

Author's Response: Thanks! I think Sam would have been teased mercilessly by Dean for this phase but I think Dean would have also at least feigned some interest for the sake of his little brother. :)

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 30/07/11 05:12 PM · On: Mistaken Identity

oooh!  Dean's in for a revelation.  I like that you took this to 'what if?'  Very good imagery and imagination! And Dean's question at the end was a positively brilliant little twist reminiscent of Kripke.

Author's Response: Thank you!  I was afraid I wasn't getting my point across with this one.  Glad you liked it!

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 30/07/11 05:10 PM · On: Merry Freaking Christmas

HEE!  I love the funny in the middle of desperate.  Beautiful!

Author's Response: My daughter and I have a joke about Merry Freaking Christmas so I had to work that in somewhere.  Of course, now that we know Cas can drink a liquor store, my bottle count was probably a tad too low.  :)

Amazing!!  Exactly spot on!  It's like you climbed inside Bobby's head at the precise moment when he lost.  I'd quote my favorite parts but every line is pure gold!  Poor Bobby.  Gotta love him!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you!  Maybe it's because I'm a cantankerous old coot like Bobby.  :) I'm glad they've kept Bobby on the show.

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 30/07/11 05:06 PM · On: After the Fall

Heartbreaking!  Dean always was one to say mean things when he got mad.  I can hear Cas say, "I'm sorry" in that emotionless way yet with intensity in his eyes.

Author's Response:

Dean and I have that in common.  I tend to run off at the mouth when I should shut up.  I'm getting better....maybe....just a bit. And that is exactly the way I imagined Cas saying he was sorry!  :)

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 30/07/11 05:05 PM · On: Name of the Game

Wow!  I think Dean knew Sam lied but he wanted to believe.  And I think Sam lied because he wanted to please Dean.  I love how astutely you wrote their perceptions!  Especially "his body seemed to be hardwired to try and please Dean."

"Does that mean I care?"  I think somewhere deep down he did care.  Or who knows?  Maybe it was just a 26 year old habit.  Whatever it was, great drabble!

Author's Response: I agree!  Dean knew Sam was lying just like we all did but he didn't want to believe it.  I really enjoyed RoboSam (although I know a lot of people didn't).  It's an opportunity for some interesting stories. I hope to write some more missing RoboSam scenes when I get back into a regular writing routine.

Dirty trick!  You had me laughing at Sam's drunk confusion until I found out he was mourning Jess.

Another fabulous piece!  I don't know how you do it.  You are the Queen!

Author's Response: *blushes*  Queen?  Don't know about that but thanks for the compliment and thanks for the reviews!!  :)

Oooh!  That's right.  John was sleeping when Mary found the demon.  I can understand his fear to close his eyes.

Aww so cute, Dean holding Sammy.  And John's tearful apology for something over which he had no control.

Author's Response: I love writing Weechesters and would really like to get into writing more of it.  I wrote a really short one-shot that kinda goes along with this.  It's called Your Guardian Angel.

Amazing!  I love a bloody Winchester!  And to see a glimpse of the old Sam was heartening.  I'm glad Dean saw him too.  "Still in there, S'my... Gonna get you back."  They're at their best when caring for one another and all walls are down.

Author's Response: I think we all love bloody Winchesters!  We are some sick puppies. :)  And yes, I agree, when they are caring for each other, they're at their best.  Thanks for the review!

Oh how heart-breaking!  Dean's confession got me right there.  It made me sad.  How horrible it would be to lose your mother but then to lose your memory of her, that would be brutal.

But Sam saves the day.  Yay!

A very well-written and emotional piece.  I love it!

Author's Response: Thanks so much!

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 24/07/11 01:48 PM · On: Judgment Day

sorry I've been gone for so long but I'm back now!  Lots to catch up on.

I sometimes wonder what Cas was thinking while he waited for the archangel.  Chuck would have been no help.

If everyone on this earth cared as much as Dean maybe all of this could have been avoided.  That was something I hadn't thought but it's very astute.

I like your ending!  The end can make or break a drabble and this was great.

Author's Response: Yay, you're back!  Hope nothing bad was keeping you away!  I know this has been a rough year for me and I haven't written much of anything.  I'm hoping to change that soon.  Thanks so much for reviewing and I agree that the ending can make or break a drabble or any story really.  It's like Chuck said, "Endings are hard."  :)

Yeah! You're back. I loved this: "It's the kind of belt I need. Chop, chop, Sammy. You're burning daylight."

Author's Response:

Some of that early seasons brotherly banter that we all loved so much. :)

Yeah, I'm kinda back. I posted a one-shot a couple of weeks ago.  Don't know if you saw it or not.  I've just not had a great year and I realized the other day I've not written hardly anything this year. I'm hoping for a calmer 2012. :)

Thanks for reading and taking time to comment!

Still reading! and enjoying!

Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying them. :)

Hey!!! I'm still here reading your drabbles ... maybe a little late at times ... but still here!

Author's Response: Better late than never, as they say. :)  Thanks for the feedback!

Reviewer: saber (Signed) · Date: 13/05/11 03:07 PM · On: Rock Band Research

I'm still reading and enjoying them. I'll continue to read them too. Are you working on a new story? *crosses fingers*

Author's Response:

Oh, thanks! The last few I posted haven't gotten any reviews so I wasn't really sure.

New story? How I wish!  I've just had too much personal stuff going on to write lately. I actually had a little down time today at lunch and that's why I posted the drabble.  I still have a few of those I haven't posted here.  I have some fic ideas and I actually had an idea for a tag to last week's episode but just don't know if I'll have time to write it before the finale.  I'm hoping that things will calm down soon and I can get back to writing.  I miss it. Thanks for reading!

Oh man! Very, very good. In a very short space, you said an awful lot and very well.

Listing the dead, that really rips out the guts.

Author's Response: Thanks!  I felt so bad for Sammy during this time and really wonder how he coped at all before getting together with Ruby.

Laughing!

Author's Response: Would really like to see Cas's reaction to some of the other angel shows on TV. :)

Oh, I remember this very moment. Very strong moment. Good work bringing it back.

Author's Response: Thank you!  Very scary moment when we were watching it, for us and the boys.

Boy, I like this. Makes me want to keep reading.

Author's Response:

Well, I based a whole story on that drabble if you want to keep reading. :)  Thanks for the review!

Hehehe! Is it wrong to love drunk Cas? 'Cause I think we need some more of it.

Dany

Author's Response: No, I certainly don't think it's wrong to love drunk Cas. :)
