It was easy to imagine that whatever they whispered within its confines would stay hidden from the world, falling in to oblivion in the open space of the seat between the two of them. Like a moving confessional of sorts, one where they could confess their sins to themselves.  I thought this was a very moving paragraph, It is beautifully written.

Awesome story Natty... I love the subject matter you chose and then how you so wonderfully crafted a tale around Dean's dislike of rats. I honestly didnt see where this was going and then you gave me that almost heart-breaking Wee!Chester tale that was SOOOO Dean... and so explained his behavior yet was just leading up to the man that Dean became.

Also loved the haunting ending you gave us too- Sam shocked by this revelation- surprised yet not- but on a different level- also fearful of what other horrifying story might be the explanation behind his brother's OTHER traits...

Again- well-crafted and believable...

I hope others check this one out!

Thank you! Well, I glad you checked it out :o)

Wee!Chesters in not something that I write very often, but each time I try, I rediscover how wonderfully entertaining and layered playing with them can be.

And yes, I'm sure that half of Dean's oddities can be explained by some sort of event or trauma in his childhood... I just wished the show would lets us in on at least one of them *pouts*

You move this beautifully between the dark humour and the sadness and I love the Wee!chester view.  Favourite line "Dean sent him a look that he usually reserved for cannibals and people who liked to listen to Enya." - so very Dean!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm very glad you liked it. Sad thing is... I love listening to Enya *g*
