Hmmm - I still wonder what sort of damage Billy inflicted on Sam mentally. And whether he'll try again if the mood takes him. Or was he just messing with Dean's head when he told him he'd house-broken Sam? At least Sam's fever has gone.....though not the sort of treatment I'd recommend for a cure. Hopefully Dean will stick around now. They really are stronger together. Jules
Author's Response: Like I always say not all is as it seems and don't take things at face value. I have been contemplaying a sequal so stay tuned for that. Thanx for reading and reviewing. Thanx Charity

Wonder if Sam even heard Dean's answer before he passed out. And what sort of damage had that crazy inflicted on him? I have a feeling Dean's got his hands full. And what about Billy? He's still on the loose, still able to come after Sam again. Ugh, too many questions - reading on. Jules
Author's Response: I've been wondering the same things lol. My mind only works so fast and when it stops it stops so to answer you I don't have the answers yet but there coming soon. I promise. Thanx for reading and reviewing. Thanx Charity

What did that crazy hunter do to Sam? Dean should never have gone in there without backup. He should have at least taken Cas with him. Oh, this isn't going to be pretty when he finds Sam - that's if he finds him. I can't believe that Billy's going to just let Sam go that easily. Jules
Author's Response: Yes I wanted to give Billy his own persona and style and push him off as cocky, calm collected, full of himself. And that little precedure only added to his characterization. But not all is as it seems. Thanx for reading and reviewing. Thanx Charity

Not good - Dean should not have gone off half-cocked - he just walked straight into that trap like a rookie. He's going to regret that - especially since he's now been taken out by whatever was in that syringe. Sloppy, Dean, really sloppy - you should have listened to Bobby more. Jules
Author's Response: Poor Dean he's so messed up in the head he totally blew off all those years of training. But ever the noble hunter he will prevail. Thanx for reading and reviewing. Thanx Charity

Not good - Sam's been drugged and taken. And by a crazed hunter by the sounds of it. Hope Bobby's intel is good, otherwise Dean will be on a wild goose chase while Sam is subject to who knows what. Hurry, Dean. Jules
Author's Response: Yes, Bobby's intel is always good especially when Dean's on full on panic mode. Thanx for reading and reviewing. Thanx Charity

Dean should have listened to the warning voice..... And not good that Sam is going to be hunted - they could already be there. I've wondered actually about that after Sam's confrontation with the other hunters on the show - how long it would take for him to be hunted again. I hated Gordon Walker for that, and I didn't like the other hunters any more for force-feeding Sam that demon blood. Wonder if Sam's fever has to do with the blood they tried to force him to drink? So glad Dean's going to get Sam. Jules
Author's Response: Dean should always listen to his warning voice. and yes I have contemplated that thought too, and with the blood I don't even know lol guess we'll just have to see. Thanx for reading and reviewing. Thanx Charity

Dean should have listened to his feelings, I think. That mystery fever of Sam's doesn't seem like a good thing - something's wrong. Thank heavens Dean hasn't gone far - I think he'll be needed before too much longer. Jules
Author's Response: Yes Dean always rings true when it comes to gut instinct but sometimes I feel his poor mind is confuddled. Thanx for reading and reviewing. Thanx Charity

Ouch! Revenge, Dean Winchester style. Don't think Sam will be under threat from those particular hunters ever again, especially the blonde bimbo who blew Sam's cover - and got his jewels blown off in retribution for beating Sam to hell. Sad that Dean chose to leave, but understandable. He still thinks they need to separate for a while. Until a little trip to the future makes him realise they really are stronger together. Such a poignant moment when Sam leaned into his touch. And that was a lovely line about Dean always watching over him. Nice job with this. I really enjoyed the read. Jules
Author's Response: Yes revenge Dean Winchster style ah I could so picture that. Anywho I knew that making Dean all mushy and staying would completely ruin things with the whole feel of it and where his character was going. So he left but is everything is as it seems. Much to the chargrin of people at fanfic.net I've been asked to do another chapter and I have a feeling more are on the way so stay tuned. Thanx for the review. Thanx Charity

Ah, you found a beta. They're great people to have at your back. I can't do without mine - she's my safety net. Poor Dean, looking like a wreck and not being able to lay on the charm like he usually does. I had to smile at the receptionist's threat as he walked out - lol. And yep, sort of what I was expecting - the hunters had hurt Sam more than he let on. That fever's not good, nor is the bruising. Thankfully Dean stopped playing shadow for a while. Ooh, game on? Bring it. Looking forward to the little confrontation between Dean and the remaining hunters, who, I might add, were pretty damned stupid in the episode. Fancy breezing into the bar and blowing Sam's cover right off the bat. Geez.....idjits. Bobby would have smacked them over the head with a brick if he'd been there. Jules
Author's Response: Yes we met rather weirdly now we talk all the time due to so much in common. I think I'm getting better at looking over my own work but she still beta's for me whenever she's not busy. Thanx for the review. Thanx Charity

Interesting slant on things that Dean became OCD with Sam gone. I've seen the episode twice now, and that line he spins to Cas in the car still causes me to cringe, even though my aunt keeps telling me it's just Dean putting up his usual "I'm perfectly fine" bluster. Can't wait to see where you are going to lead us with this - it'll be interesting to see whether Dean can keep his word and be a shadow, especially if things are going to go the way I suspect.......*cue scary music*..... Reading on - and have nails ready to bite.... Jules
Author's Response: Thanks! I always knew that Dean had to be at least feeling something after Sam left and I knew that line to Cas was a total and blatant 'I'm fine leave me alone' lie. I'm glad ur liking it. Thanx for the review. Thanx Charity
