Very good, i liked this story, the poem worked well with it,i remember the poem from school, mind you that was a very long time ago lol.

I remember the poem too from many, many years ago, but when i started working at school it all came flooding back although in those days I didn't have Dean and Sam to distract me!

I think I must be one of the few who hasn't read this poem...oh dear lol
It meshes very well with the boys, and the haunted, ghostly feel is just right, a very good antidote to the overdose of TV!!! Thank you, you saved me from mental oblivion :)

Hi Jacq, I was feeling a bit over Christmassed too (if that makes sense!). I was in need of an old fashioned spooky story and this poem has been in my head a long, long time.

I liked it! I've always liked that poem and it was great to have the boys' differing reactions to the same house in frame. I love how you slotted the poem in there at the right intervals. Nice!
