Sooooo funny! There was so much to laugh about in this piece and tear up about, too.
Dean slapped him on his back, a love you in a touch. How sweet and totally male.
"You called the Impala 'her'... awww Sammy you bonded."
"Shut up." And the balance is restored between the brothers. the moment is over, but preserved with those loving words--- shut up. They're like a big Winchester bear hug.
"Yeah, well, come on ... start her up... my ass is freezing" After all Sam's grousing about being cold, it's Dean who finally gets them moving. Using Sam's words against him was awesome!
Awww... Dean gave Sam his own set of keys to the Impala. How sweet. But what did Sam give Dean? Did I miss that? All I remember is that Sam got it from Bobby.
It's Sam and Dean on the road in the Impala--- like every other day of their lives. But you created a meaningful moment, captured the cozy closeness that makes Christmas so important. And that makes this day different than the others, better, strengthened the bond between them.

yup, the boys and brothers generally just do not hug and say I love you and whenever they do that in a fic I just roll my eyes and move on... I mean I like reading the boys hugging it all out, but it's just.. not realistic and it makes them look like chicks! LOL.... so yeah, I had to do something else here.. no hugging!
oh umm, Sam gave Dean whatever you want for Dean to get! it's like.... you giving a present to Dean via Sam! LOL :))) coz I'm sure you want to give something to Dean, right!?
yeah... I mean there's just nothing more amazing then spending Christmas with your family! right!? and Sam and Dean are each other's family! :) the only one they've got!
