I do believe Markus is finally beginning to see how Sam needs to be with Dean right now, and not back at Stanford. Seems like Dean is getting the best of care, and will have a nice Christmas with his new friends. Too bad the jerks got away, though. Looking forward to the next chapter.

OMG!!! Can't wait for the next update!! I have a feeling that things are going to get worse for Dean before it gets any better... I'm glad that Sammy is on his way to hopefully save the day. Poor Dean!! I have a bad feeling the brothers are not done with him....please update soon!!

You're setting us up for something awful- I can just feel it... Dean's hiding whats really wrong and Sammy's sensing that his brother is really in trouble- cant fake out those Sammy-spidey senses... LOL.

And those Stadler brothers are still out there somewhere... bastards!

And poor Dean...He was, for the first, and perhaps only time in his life, going to experience the real deal. Christmas. Just like the one in the carols, just like the books. Like the ads, only better. His father had been a good man, he'd done his best and Dean had lionized him...but this area that was one of his worst failures, a constant source of hurt for his boys, year after year after year. And even Dean had found it hard to forgive. He needed to be here. He needed to see the excitement, the thrill, and the happiness that the little ones would show. He wanted, just once, to see all the silly Christmas eve wishes of a couple of normal kids come true. He didn't care how he felt physically, he needed this more. - all he wants- but I'm thinking he's just not gonna get it!

Well done Mal- you're torturing us slowly.... but so deliciously!

Why does Dean have to lie about his condition, his badly is he hurt.  What will happen when Sam and that Markus one show up?  Is Dean going to worsen before Sam gets to him?  More soon please. Greta chapter.  Don't like any of Sam's friends.....

Good!   I'm glad Sam is getting his friends to get off of his case!  I know they care, but, grr!  I think Dean is in horrible shape, and I'm very worried about him, AND I'm worried about him not having his phone.  It's a great story!

Loved this one again. Wonderful dialogues. Markus is a way better person then we first thought. I hope Sam will head out to Twain Harte to check on Dean. I have a feeling he is not doing too well and could need some assistance in dealing with the Saddlers. I adore Ryan and his family. You always do so well in creating and describing various characters.

So, so, so happy to see an update! I am totally in love with this story -- but you knew I would be...

So... Dean. I'm thinking he is far from as ok as he thinks he is. I love Connie -- as well as Ryan and Stacey. And those Sadler brothers on the loose? I just know we haven't seen the last of them... wonder if they know wher Ryan lives.... hmmmmmmmm.......

I'm thinking that Sam is either going to get worried about Dean or just plain really miss the big galute! I'm still holding out hope that Markus will become a complete convert to the awesome that is Dean Winchester!

Sam's still not suffering enough for leaving Dean to go spend a cosy Christmas with his buddies.  Is dean going to be OK?  Please post again soon.

Great chapter.  Is Dean not going to phone Sam when he is in this state?    So are they just going to Christmas apart and then get beck together as if nothing had happened? That sucks...

Well, I'm so glad that Sam stood up for Dean! That was quite nice. I really wanted to smack Adam, how dare he say that about Dean! The jerk. I'm glad that Dean seems to be having a good Christmas even though he is laid up. How sweet of Bethany to loan out her teddy bear to Dean, just too sweet! I can easily picture Dean asleep with that bear! Looking forward to the next chapter.
