I've been haunting my email - dying for this update and it totally did not disappoint. Glad to see Markus coming over to realize what Dean means to Sam. I'm hoping that they get a real eye-opener with how Dean spent his Christmas...

Poor Dean! The nightmares! and of course the kids would bond with him instantly! I'm still wondering if there isn't more coming his way...

Can't wait for more....

Poor Sam...such an awful situation for him... and Adam is such an ass.... but I'm glad that Markus stood up and Sam realizing how  much he misses Dean...

and then Dean... missing Sam... unconsciously needing Sam- when he's hurt.  love the little girl- wanting to give him her Teddy named Sam... that was sooo sweet...

I just can't help but to think that this is far from over... and its all soo nice and sweet- but its like I'm waiting for something awful yet to happen....

You got the chapter posted quickly, and I didn't get a chance to read it until now!  What a great chapter!  I'm glad Sam's friends prepared him for what the Memorial was going to be like.  I suspect it's going to be difficult.  I of course loved getting Dean all fixed up too.  Lovely!

Great chapter,  so Sam does think about his brother even when trashed or because he is trashed, poor Dean, he's obviously not too bad. Looking forward to more soon.

I've been haunting my email waiting for your update! I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop for Sam... and I'm thinking that Dean may not be out of the woods yet either.... I'm thinking that Sam is going to be getting a phone call about his brother from a stranger... Dean should know better than to downplay a concussion.

Yikes! Sounds like those goons really worked Dean over really good. I wonder if Ryan still plans on taking him home or to a hospital. I can't imagine those kind of injuries not attended to by a doctor! Poor Dean, looked like he was going to have a nice Christmas, and them Wham!!!! Looking forward to the next chapter.

On a total tangent,  we have a red brick general store in my community.  Since before the nineteen hundreds,  people have carved their names in the bricks.  The most clearly incised name here is "Moira."

Fame is an odd thing,  isn't it..?

You've created some very likeable original characters in this tale, and at least Dean's got somewhere sage to lay his bruised and bloody head for the night!

Wow, I would have expected worse damage to Dean considering the beating he took.  Looking forward to more, Post again soon,  Is Sam even thinking about his brother or is he too busy being normal?
