Very atmospheric, loved the descriptions of the lakeside setting and I can feel the chill in the autumn air.  Captured the pains of growing Dean and young Sam very convincingly too.

Author's Response: Thank you so much!  I really appreciate your comments!

Love this, and love that it finally got posted!   There's a wonderful celtic feel to it, like reading Irish mythology, or listening to Joan Baez sing "The Silkie of Sule Skerry" <g> And wonderful to tie the anniversary of the boys' mother's death in, with Halloween (also a celtic holy day, and a time when the veil between the worlds thins) as the time point grounding the whole story.  And my goodness, how did you manage to get inside the head of an adolescent male so well!  Brilliantly done!

Author's Response: Thank you thank you thank you Gail!  You're a constant source of support, and I couldn't have gotten this done without you!

Hi, you did a good job with this story. It was pretty angsty the way Dean was drawn in by this girl, spooky! Normally I'm not a big fan of Weechester or Teenchester fics, but I really enjoyed reading this one!

Author's Response:

Thanks so much!  I don't usually do "pre-series" stories, but since SPN has so many flashbacks, I feel the younger versions of Sam and Dean are almost "official" characters.  I'm glad you enjoyed it!
