Darn it, girl!!  Now you got me tearing up!!  Poor Sammy.  He's lost all hope:(  You captured how Dean's "switch" flips.... away from his our sadness and mourning.... when Sam is mentioned.  Right on the mark!  Great job. *sob*

You really want to know what I think?

I think.................that you're onto something with this. I think that Sam's headed for a breakdown - he must be. No one can keep carrying all that guilt and angst and not buckle under the strain eventually. He might have demon blood and be as obsessed as his father, but he's still only human.

That was a heartbreaking scene with Dean wiping away the tears that just kept falling. And how sad, that line of Sam's - "Everybody dies." Survivor guilt of the worst, most crippling kind.

Oh, Sammy.....*sniffles*...

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review!  I can't imagine how Sam hasn't had a breakdown before now.  He blames himself for everything when actually hardly any of it is all his fault.
